grawitj
They're to busy having fun in their olympic sized swimming pool full of 1 billion dollar bills.Cragovich, they soon will be swimming in two olympic sized pools. http://guardianlv.com/2013/09/gta-5-set-to-earn-its-second-billion-this-october/ Just a tiny article from Guardianly.com What’s going to happen is that a small patch will become available to everyone who has purchased GTA 5, and it will be the key to unlock Grand Theft Auto Online so that you can then have access to its multi-player section. There, you can play and/or participate in various activities the game allows with 16 of your friends, or people around the world who own the game, whether it’s the Xbox 360 version or the one for Playstation 3. Grand Theft Auto Online will be heavily supported by its development team. The team will release content release and updates often, as well as deal with any complaints or other issues. During the first few weeks, they will also make available downloadable content for free. So I guess R* really going to do same as EA.. when for everything new we will have to pay after we will all just going test their online...and when they will fix it, they will offer us more additional DLC for guns, tuning cars, maybe some activities for cash. Guys, don't expect DLC for Single Player as it was for GTA IV with TBOGT for example, if they going to take their all time to "upgrade" GTA Online. Well not for this year probably. I just wonder how much those upgrades to game will cost when they will finally decide that the game is free from bugs and interesting enough.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ So, how is it that, if everything about playing Grand Theft Auto Online is free, Rockstar Games can make its second billion? Take-Two Interactive are really the people behind Rockstar Games. While you can play Grand Theft Auto Online for free, once you’ve purchased GTA 5, to do certain things or buy certain things you will need to spend some of that hard-earned cash you’ve gained through playing the game. Or, if you’d rather not spend hours and hours, if not longer, getting the cash through playing the game, there is an alternative — you can buy GTA $ with real money. That’s what’s gotten Take-Two investors all excited about the online version of this extremely popular game. Rockstar Games announced that: …if you’re the completely instant gratification type, you can choose to buy denominations of GTA$. You will have the option to purchase GTA$ through the in-game Store. KillaDanny
they say they are going to add stuff to the game for free and you say they are turning into EA? Besides even if they add new guns or cars I'm not forced to buy it (and I wont buy it) Only DLC i'll buy is maps DLC (they said they want to add maps from other GTA games) Edited September 30, 2013 by KillaDanny
Jimmy Darmody
they say they are going to add stuff to the game for free and you say they are turning into EA? They are saying they are adding stuff for free on the first weeks only. After that you have to pay. And if you only get V on christmas you won't get that free content? I don't know. But this article just framed GTAO as a p2p and i'm sorry but i ain't getting their pockets fatter. A lot of people said they would not be paying GTAO as well weeks ago. I don't know if they changed minds now that they have a "gaming high" on V but if i were them i would keep my word. But it's still their choice, so they do as they pleased. For me, one thing is for sure... i ain't paying GTAO if it's turns into a p2p. I'm wrinting on my cock a big "NO" and rubbing it on Dan's Houser face. lol grawitj
stevean2
so Rockstar. An honest company announces free DLC for the first few weeks and you guy's dont even wait to see what the future DLC they announce is? It was pretty obvious it was in the form of DLC as it was announced in the f*cking trailer. how does new FREE content make them EA btw? oh and the ones in charge, Take- Two where responsible for the easily avoidable and "not required to pay" Money DLC and even if we HAD to pay for the DLC then it'd be something worth it. I mean come on, one of the free DLC's adds FOUR new vehicles, 400 friggin customization options and TWO new weapons. If they where EA that' be another 10 pounds right there. so actions Take Two do = Rockstar is EA. ALRIGHT. Xyrrath
Moth
Wait, you are pissed that they are giving us some dlc for free? And of course they are going to charge for other pieces of DLC down the road, they need to get money for the servers and help expand the online. And yeah, they are going to make money from it as well, since they are a business and not a charity. This was to be expected. And no, the game isn't going to be pay to play, the game is going to be free to play with dlc to make money from. You are making a mountain out of an ant hill. Pinnkiepie
He is talking about the cashcards which we all know about, this is nothing new. On the other hand if they release clothes or guns as DLC to pay, then I'm okay with that since I won't waste money on that anyway... Only DLC I would buy is a City DLC or something like that Edited September 30, 2013 by KillaDanny

I mean they were always different company and now it's actually GTA V became without it's own multiplayer, because I count GTA ONLINE AS FTP (BUT you can pay cash for them) as a stand alone lil sh*t. Man, all other GAMES DIDN'T REQUIRED TO PAY FOR MULTIPLAYER FROM THEM. We were playing all multiplayers from previous titles for free and now they can't afford to keep one game servers? I think there would be enough if they would just leave their option to donate or so and people who would donate would get cash in game as a gift. I have a point. They will not even probably add it to SP for people who don't like MP or don't have internet to run MP online and or has f*cking NAT 3 and not possible to open ports like on three.co.uk/ie mifi modems... It's like if they will not upgrade same way with same online updates SP I caan clearly tell that GTA V is dead in it's early years.
