I've been on the same track as you for the past week, going crazy at how blind people have been to the obvious messages embedded by R*. I just now stumbled across your post and felt a bit of relief to see that I'm not crazy and someone else sees the puzzle as I do.

Technically, as far as what you are saying, I have done a lot of things correctly. I think since you haven't played though, you are miss guided on a few parts. "I" feel you are suppose to take some of those people to the Altruists. I have had one girl as a hitchhiker for both Franklin and Micheal and she kept showing up, "until" I picked her up with Trevor and took her to the Altruists. She is now no longer around. I also got the "special" ending of the Altruists due to it.

Then that is a big deal, which shows, for example, you must have done something wrong. While many make the same mistakes, you are the first person I have seen make one that results in not getting to hunt bigfoot.

No it isn't something you have to go and find, it is marked on the map in the pause screen and from far away on the minimap when it is available to you. I saw it on the live stream.

 

If it is invisible for some people, then it is likely still possible to find things that are only marked or not marked when played correctly, rather than locked out.

Yeah this has to be it, man. I actually found a chunk of the ''small'' different choices/outcomes in my normal playthrough, they influence the Psychiatric report at the end alot aswell. I bet we have to get the correct one to trigger the final part of the egg, and Michael is most likely the key, because in the multiplayer, Cris comes in and a pretty big cutscene plays with him. I heard from other people that they found NPC's which mention UFO's and hints, etc aswell. So multi also has some clues it seems. When i route the game for speedrunning soon i will find out all of the different decisions/outcomes.

A friend of mine told me about a egg. A part that is still not posted anywhere here. And I think what Brian is talking about my be true.
Play as Franklin and complete the Children of The Mountain. They are apparently worshipping a egg of some kind. Donno my self yet as I have only done the story and some side stuff.
Started with the Altruists for Trevor, and made sure not to pick up people I needed for some things, like Packie (in my crew now), Taviana (made sure I made 41.6 millions on the last heist ) But the bride that doesn't want to get married and the two that are at the pub next door to Trevors trailer are the three I've dropped off to the Altruists so far. Didn't even know about the hiker dude... Anywhore, I'm going to find someone that probably won't be missed

Also, I flew a cargo bob with a tank hooked up to it to the Weed farm where you save Lamar in the mission, and tried to blast that sewer "gate" open, but did not work, just fyi. Also, did not work blowing up the top of the mountain with it either, even flipped the tank and blew up my chopper by accident
Oh, last bit of info, I bought every single thing in the game with all three. Well, most with Michael anyway. But yeah, all clothing, boats, heils, planes, haircuts, most expencive cars and so on... Only wasted about 300mill... Going to do the Epsilon missions with M now, maybe that helps, but first, some hours with GTA Online
