Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) The reason you have not yet found the easter egg is because: Most players are downloading save files instead of playing the game themselves the rules are right in the carpet. its about how you play the game. downloading that file is like copying an artist: You only reproduce his mistakes. Rockstar said decisions will not be so clear cut this time (IE you may not even know you are making a decision, or that you can do something else). You need to complete missions in ways others have not - you cheat with a save file you automatically lose if the person did not play correct. If you do not play the game correctly, try different choices than others, you will NEVER find the egg. LIKE AS IF I JUST BOMBED YOUR BODEGA, START OVER, BEEEYATCH. "FOR WHEN THE GREATEST SCORER COMES TO WRITE AGAINST YOUR NAME, HE MARKS NOT THAT YOU WON, BUT HOW YOU PLAYED THE GAME" HERE'S A SUGGESTION TO TEST UNSEEN OUTCOMES: 1: Start bigfoot strangers and freaks. 2: do not shoot big foot. Get the picture the freak asked you for in the first place and bring it to him. He wanted something from you. You went off and did your own thing, and never talked to him again. It may not work. But it is that kind of playing that will help you. Remember when you killed Cris? Did you really HAVE to kill him? Is that why you never got the last 5 tenets that are hinted at in the 5 tracts you unlocked at 10/15? Those of you who cheated with a download have no choice but to play the game legitimately, or step aside. Those of you who doubt the egg "cause u got 100 and know", do not know now, do you? If anyone finds it because of this, it's because a PC gamer told you because he couldn't do it himself while you downloaded 100% files that are already failed to be characters who stayed as savables. How many theories are correct, but you all downloaded a noob's save file? Yep. Could you have gone back to him before killing bigfoot with a picture and get something new? Which hitchhikers are killed, and which are alive, in the downloaded saves? NO WAY TO TELL. Most of the people hunting for the flyable UFO/Jetpack are using 100% save games they got from the internet. OP is saying unlocking the easter egg could be dependent on how you played the game and choices you made, Therfore if some people downloaded a save game where the easter egg is unatainable (due to choices made ingame) then those people are also unable to unlock it. Also: If R* went through the trouble of creating such a complex easter egg to unlock the UFO/Jetpack, don't you think they'd hide the file's exceptionally well to keep people from ruining the surprise? The files people are looking for could easily be hidden in other places and have obscure names to keep them under wraps. GTA 5 is massive, searching through the files to try and disprove the existence of the UFO/Jetpack is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Surely if I could do it, so can anyone that is smart enough to find anything cryptical. EDIT: Btw Brian, I don't know if you are aware, but you can replay any missions PERIOD, so if it is possible to do such things as you are saying, you could easily change the outcome by replaying it. Also...Using a gamesave is bad. Hopefully R* can detect this and ban you from GTAO so i dont have to share my server with cheats. Yes...I said "Cheats" because if you cant be bothered to complete a game that takes <72 hours to get 100% then i shudder to think what you will mod into that save for online.
