Elegy option disappeared after unlocking?

I unlocked the Elegy after signing up to Social Club and was able to select it from the special cars list and drive it, but now the option is no longer there? I can no longer select it from the garage and drive it, it's as if I never even unlocked it. Do I have to be connected to Xbox Live to use it or did something more serious happen?
