Arcadiax Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Releasing updates is always fuzzy on consoles, as both have set times to roll out updates, we don't know if GTA online will be one of the exceptions that releases whenever it wants. If it is, it may well be staggered across regions so the servers don't get overflown and crash. Rockstar aren't giving us a definite time because they likely simply don't know, or it's too complicated to be giving out times as there are many different times varying around the globe. If I were you, I'd just go about my day as normal, and check up on the newswire/forums every now and then, I've been through enough game launches to know that it's not worth it, it feels like forever and it likely won't come out early. They've said it will be October 2nd in australia due to time differences, it's currently almost 8am in australia. That means it won't be out for AT LEAST 16 HOURS from the time of this post. When R* has a time for us, they'll give us one, if not, just go about your day as normal, there's no point wasting time sitting waiting. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ravey Davey Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Psn normally updates around 3-5pm here in the UK, and I expect the patch to become available at the same time. So that would roughly match with the 'at least 16 hours' OP mentioned. That being said, after the issues with the social club website going down for days at a time when the game was launched, I would be surprised if we all get it at different times anyway.
