People will be able to use Passive Mode to kill you.

If I have heard and read everything correctly, then it seems to me that people will be able to abuse this Passive Mode system and use it to kill others. For example: We just got finished doing a heist and I turn on passive mode, but no one knows it. I am now invincible and no one else is. I can now pull out my shotgun, point it at your face and there is nothing you can do about it. You can shoot me all you want, but you can't kill me. It clearly states that Passive Mode is turned off when I attack another player. So this means if I have a shotgun or even better an RPG, as long as I hit you with the first shot, I can inta-kill you and you can't do anything except run or have to turn on Passive Mode yourself(Which takes time to do). How can Rockstar stop this from happening?

God did you even try to analyze such bullsh*t before posting it? Why would rockstar do something they know would piss people off? Also they know when you have passive mode on, the guy who was answering question on reddit said there is a line through the player's blip.

A. It costs either 100 to 500 to activate passive so do you really want to spend some of that hard earned heist money to activate it?

 

B. as soon as you pull out a weapon you get out of passive so its not like you'll be guaranteed to get first hit when you get out of it if someone is watching with a weapon already out..

Your first R2 deactivated passive mode, the second would fire. But surely there will he some kind of delay when entering and leaving passive mode. So what you describe cannot happen. Either that, or you can only enter and exit passive modes in certain places, like a heist money split lobby, or a safe house?

 

Also, there will he a big freakin icon above your head when in passive mode, so play will know.

According to the recent CVG preview, you cant even pull your gun out in passive mode, nor can you access the weapon wheel.

The gun thing is obviously a safe method of being in passive mode, but what about when you're behind the wheel of a car? In theory, you can be protected but run someone over, right?

I guess the only solution would be that in passive mode, other players would 'ghost' through your car as you hit them

Cars ghost when in passive

You cant pull a gun out when in passive.

You cant hijack vehicles when in passive

 

All you can do is drive..and walk.

You can however gain wanted levels in passive.

 

So basically drive carefully, you can still hit and kill NPC's and you cant shoot the police once you have wanted levels without taking yourself out of passive.

As easy as it is to die, you could probably walk past someone and elbow them in the ribs.

 

I'm kidding. You might be able to hit them with a car, or what I'm gonna do with my friends, crash the car so they die. I work with my friends in real life, so it'll be pretty funny.
