I'f you're going to cheat, you're gonna cheat to the max. Aint I right people? they are spoon feeding us and telling us how we should play and when we can use the cheat and when not to. My advice to people, save yourself the strength and time, don't bother looking up other cheat codes. I'm going to use a ps3 editor or something. I play how I want to play!!!!!! Read dead redemption is the best game ever. GTA V is turning out to be stupid. For them to put invincility for only 5 minutes that is an insult to all of there loyal fans!!. Most games doesn't even have any cheat codes (Are you skipping every game that doesn't have cheat codes from now on lol?) You can't step out of any of their bounds. can't do what you're told to do until you're told to do it, and if it's a mission where you actually can do something off-plot, you won't get credit for it/you'll fail, and the game won't say why, so you may end up repeatedly failing/getting frustrated by doing the right thing, just 'at the wrong time.' I'm thinking specifically of the flight school garbage. - the missions are all pre-determinned and it feels like you're just tapping buttons through an "interactive" cgi sequence. They'll control when you can or can't run. They'll control when you can or can't draw a weapon. They'll control when you can or can't drive faster than a target. Plenty more examples if you want them. They'll control which characters you can or can't hit/shoot. This thread just reminded me of a perfect example pretty early in the game. http://gtaforums.com/topic/602813-destroying-a-house-video/ When franklin hooks the cable between the truck and the porch in Marriage Counseling, and the game tells you to drive to pull it down, the very first thing I did was try to reverse in order to put some slack in the line to give it a real jerk. Well you can't even reverse the truck. You can only do what they tell you to do, how they tell you to do it. Nothing feels free or like you're doing it on your own. Nothing is actually a surprise, all scripted and controlled. It also sucks that there's nothing destructive/interactive like that in freeplay. I was worried before the game even came out when they released the list of random events. How could they be "random events" if everyone gets the same list and it's all plotted out/scheduled/known about? so many examples of it taking the control out of the players' hands... there's no way it isn't intentional. I agree with your perspective on how they are spoon feeding us I think this game needs to have a variety of stuff to do, but I would be more pissed off if rockstar just released a DLC cheat that has invincibility forever which I'm sure could be a possibility for what they were planning to do with the 5 minute cheat or these cheats were probably debug features put into a game and didn't even bother to have moderate cheats. So it's 5min in free roam and nothing for missions? I can see if it were unlimited in free-roam and limited for missions, but the limit for free-roam in a GTA game is odd, especially the last GTA game of this console generation with a map that size. Im just shocked beyond belief if only i new more why the dev team has taken this path i feel like im locked out to enjoy the game to its full potential Of all companys you guys have changed im sorry but it has to be said and shared among everyone. Tbh, I would've been okay with Rockstar only allowing cheats after you complete the story. But, there would've been more cheats like pedestrians riot/never wanted/flying cars and stuff. I've always been an advocate for allowing players to toy with the mechanics of single player and cheat if they want to and Rockstar has a history of indulging me, that's why they became "my" game company and why I've waited for a midnight release or preordered every rockstar game I could since GTA 3. Now it does feel like betrayal, it feels like they shafted us even more than the others because they didn't even make up lies for us as much as nerf what they knew would be the biggest cheat as an underhanded way of including us in the "f*cked" pile. At the same time though I'm not really upset about it. Realistically speaking I was probably putting the health cheat in on GTA IV every ~5 minutes in my goofaround sessions and with this I don't have to input it between but can just press a short code and be good for 5 minutes. Even in RDR with the bugs concerning cheats you'd usually have to re-activate the cheat after a mission cutscene or in some versions after using Dead-Eye. Missions seem to start a new session so I think that's why they set them up to deactivate, to enable cheaters to still have a little challenge and still earn trophies. They even threw in a little skip feature if you fail a mission 3 times so it's not like the difficulty got upped, which I'd never use but I'm sure it's a nice feature for some. I honestly havent seen any games with better play style as this game. Now i dont love this game but i do believe its a very good game.
