When you describe a form of media (movie for example) at its simplest form. f*ckin take Fight Club PERFECT example. Now I can either go into detail and say

 

"It is a film about a man who is so pissed off with his life he creates a version of himself that he wishes he could be", and blah blah bunch of complicated stuff that I dont want to spoil for anyone who hasnt had the pleasure of seeing the movie.

 

or I could say

 

"Fight club is about a man, who meets someone who

and creates a terrorist organisation"

 

See how the second (more basic) description is nothing like what the actual movie is and I am sure if I decided to do abit of research could find another movie that matches that description. However if I described the film in a more complex manner and told you what it is actually about. I Doubt I would be able to find ANY film similar to it as it is truely unique. Same with a movie called Memento (another great movie)

 

I could basically say its about a guy who cant remember anything for more than (cant remember how long but lets say 20 minutes) 20 minutes

and murders his wife

 

 

Which is doing the movie severe unjustice as it is much more complex than that.

 

To sum that up when you describe a movie at its simplest form you can say it is similar to any movie.

I played TLOU 3 times. I played GTA V once.

 

GTA V has NO replay value. Its a half finish game. First time Rockstar ever did this to us.

 

 

Then why did I pass the main story and still feel like I want to come back to it and experience it again? Mere days after passing it. Free roam game with a story which has no repetitive missions and an Online that is looking to be even more interesting has no replay value when compared to Last of Us?

TLOU has got to be one of the most overrated games in history. TLOU is PS3 exclusive, but GTA is multiplat and has sold sh*t tons more.

I have to agree with this. Having played TLOU, I find it an EXTREMELY overrated game. When I first got the game I was excited but as I played it through I became a little disappointed. It was very repetitive and I found it to have little to no replay value. The best part about the game were the graphics and story. That doesn't make up a great game imo.

I had a friend who hated GTA but never played a single one. He then bought GTA V and loves GTA. He even said he had a misinformed opinion about the GTA franchises. If you don't try things out on what ever product your opinion means sh*t to that product.
