GTA V vs Red Dead Redemption

What game do you think is your favorite?

 

I love both games. I think gta v is amazing but red dead is my favorite for sure. This may change after the release of dlc and online.

Both of them are too epic for me to decide a clear winner. Epic music. Epic gameplay. Even better story.

 

But there is more stuff to do in RDR after the ending.

Are you kidding? Red Dead is way overrated. It had a decent story and that's about it. Aside from looking pretty, but graphics don't really matter much for making a game great. GTA V is amazing and blows Red Dead out of the water.

..I love GTA V. Love it alot. My favorite GTA so far.

Hell, I don't even like the country, but I'm almost leaning with Red Dead. That story was great. The characters were great. The soundtrack was amazing.

I had A LOT of fun playing through GTA V, after finishing the game to 82%..well, there the fun stopped eventually.

CHALLENGES, POKER, BLACKJACK, MINIGAMES, UNIQUE OUTFITS TO UNLOCK, EASTER EGGS, NEW CHARACTERS TO MEET.

 

Stuff to do.

 

In GTA V there isn't much fun past 80%, except for exploring and finding some UFO's and signals.

I think I'd have to choose RDR based solely on the story and character development.

Easily GTA V. Besides gambling it has everything RDR had, plus more, it's set in the current day, has a huge dynamic city. customization.

 

The only thing red dead could win is the story. Other than that the world is lifeless compared to V.

And RDR online sucked to me.. it was so boring I culdn't play it for any longer than 5 minutes.

Red dead was sick in its own right. Such a cool idea, it was basically gta as a western. Two of my favourite things haha.

 

Having said that I prefer gta because I feel there's more to do/mess with. I mean, red dead is severely lacking in the horse customization department. Where were my carbon hooves? My chrome plated saddle? Etc

Well the story in RDR was probably a bit better, but GTA V has held my interest longer. So GTA V.

Red Dead Redemption for sure. Better story, characters, music, gameplay, lighting and shading, more interesting world to explore, more substantial content overall.

GTA V for me, after I beat Red Dead I got sick of

playing as Jack and hearing him yell "WORK YA DAMN NAG" every f*cking minute when I'm riding a horse.

RDR = a Better Storyline

 

Gta v = more Replay Value

 

Both have great worlds to explore but los santos has more to offer i love rdr but it did feel a bit dead after the story is beat.

 

Overall i would rate them both 9/10 there is really not much in it but Rdr Has Stuck with me more so for That reason im gonna say Red Dead Redemption.

They are both tremendous game, but I'd have to say GTA V barely nudges past it in my book, and that's saying a lot as online hasn't even came out yet.

Even if I'm one of the "complainers" when it comes to V I will not compare a GTA with RDR. Both are awesome in general but imho totally different.
