How do I finish them? I've been trying for AGES, but I never seem to finish them, because I always go over the time limit. I've found that tapping R2 quickly while in mid-air seems to increase my speed, but I still arrive at the airport seconds after the time limit. how do I do them?

Hold down R2 to keep a high speed,just like driving a car and use your rudders L1,R1 for sharp turns.Also keep a eye on the mini map so you'll know what direction the next waypoint is so you don't get caught off guard.I got silver on all the heli's,first try.I need to go back and try for the gold tho but shouldn't be too hard after a few try's.

Oh yea when holding R2 make sure your pushing the stick forward to pick up speed if you don't you will just climb in altitude.

Full throttle dont lift, yet I still didnt get gold and hit all hoops pretty easy.

The first helicopter lesson is pretty easy to gold once you know the course. The time is pretty fair. The second one requires a perfect run, especially the landing. I got gold once on it, and I'm still amazed I pulled it off. Came close many times, including several that were 1 or 2 seconds over.
