I hate turning to cheats but the cops are getting on my nerves! One time this cop was chasing a dude down the road and he rammed his car into mine and i get a damn wanted level, for trying to escape it turns into two. I get attacked by peds for no damn reason and try to fight back and there you go have a wanted level. No i am actually very good at driving and maxed out everything on all 3 chars, my point is that cops come at you for very little things and is irritating having to stop what you are doing because you have to chase them away. Not only do they get on your ass for the smallest things, they go totally apesh*t once they're on you, ramming into your car like a rabid dog. Every time you turn a corner and start to hide, another cop car just HAPPENS be coming right down your alley and somehow knows exactly where you are, and will never stop following you until he finds you again. Good luck if you get to 2 or 3 wanted stars. Those FIB trucks with the NOOSE on the side are suicide bomber level insane. They slam into you at full speed to the point where your car almost flips over, guns blazing right in your face and will not stop. Also somehow manage to hit you every time no matter how far away you are or where you're moving. I'm all for challenges but Jesus. Cop chases should be fun and exciting, not irritating and annoying. I don't mind too much that they're more agressive and hadrer to get away from but it is annoying when they come after you over little things. Find a secluded spot in an alley, side street etc. After you stop in a well hidden area they usually call off the search. They will hang around in general area then call off the search. If you go about driving full speed on main roads you will just run into more cops. You will eventually get away using that tactic too if you don't shoot at them receiving more stars. Anything below 4 stars can be escaped without much hassle at all, just understand you need to hide and keep an eye out for the helicopter search cone and you're golden. If you're out in the open, ie. country, find a car and stay away from the interstates/highways. I also don't get the problem with peds attacking you without any prior incidents. They were right on my nuts in the final heist, I passed a tunnel entrance, spun around and went inside and they didnt pursue with 5 stars on my head. Here, have some more units right in front of you. Same goes for planes. You evaded the police, now what? Helicopters magically appear right in f*cking front of you, there's no way you could evade them. djjohnjarvis90 Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Yea escaping the cops is easy, the problem is you can be on the top of a mountain in the countryside whilst sneaking and shoot someone who is unaware with a silenced sniper and get a wanted level and cops who magically know where you are. It's not the cop chase system so much as what you do to get the police on you and how they appear to be psychic. Also I can get cops on me for standing around too long or accidentally hitting the button to say stuff to people which is an absolute joke. The cop chase system is a definite improvement over the previous where they have a line of sight which you can see on the mini map though. I've sniped cops from rooftops blocks away and evaded choppers instantly. Cops apparently are afraid of tunnels.
