Jabalous
It seems that Rockstar wants the player to pay attention to the detailed exteriors. Garbut made an emphasis on this point in an interview. He said in responding to this question: What were the other geographical features and signifiers that you felt that you had to get absolutely right to express the setting of the game? How did you go about doing this? Part of the answer: We’ve tried to push exploration in a way that we’ve never managed before. It’s always been a feature of the game and it’s always been very much front and center in our minds when we’ve built the worlds, but we’ve just never had the ability to go as far as we’ve done this time. We’ve really pushed verticality. Most blocks are fully accessible from ground or roof, and you can climb around them and get between lots of the buildings at roof level. It adds an entirely different aspect to the game. I still don't understand why many of the interiors are inaccessible. Let us have both, detailed interiors and exteriors! craigdyid, Official General and Patrizio

I realy would like that they keep Mission interiors closed.(most of them) But instead open/or make an interior for all the buisnesses we can buy. This would have been so awesome, with additional MIssions for each Buisness which could also affect the Stock market... There is still hope for SP DLC fixing this up. NikoBellicGTAIV
It seems like properties are something they added WAY, WAY LATE into development. Remember that article that said there were no properties, and everyone raged because of that? I think they added them in after that but obviously didn't have time to properly integrate them into the game. Still, was it so hard to at least open Tequi-la-la which ALREADY HAD an interior? Anachronistic
Tequila-la is handled differently than other properties in GTAO, too, creator-wise. When testing a job made in the creator, most interiors are open, the police station, Michael's, Trevor's and Franklin's homes, Humane Labs, etc. This is in testing phase only, the interiors are still locked during the editing process. Certain properties like Tequila-la are removed completely from the game. As you enter either two of the three doors you pass through them and fall through the map. The third door is locked. Additionally, after doing the "flying a buzzard under the map" wall breech, the interior doesn't load either. You can fly into the building and remain intact whereas if you fly into Pacific Standard, you won't see the interior until your helicopter explodes in the bank's lobby. Plage
Who tells you that it's SP when they visit the Dynasty website in the trailer? To me it's clear it's ment to hint to online mode because in the next scene you can see an online character in his apartment. Besides that we all know that the Dynasty website "is under construction" in SP. That said I'm not really happy with what we can buy and access in SP. I mean I can buy a 150 million dollar golf club but there isn't even a special parking lot for the owner (were he can store an other or even more cars)? Why can't I buy one of the dozen parking garages, lots and what not, too. It had to be clear from the beginning that there would be players that would like to collect cars and have enough space for them. I also can't understand why they didn't took certain things over from IV and TLAD and TBOGT like for example clubs in which you can go, dance, drink and pick-up women. This surely isn't a performance issue and I doubt it would have cost that many resources in the development phase. Yeah they do fit Online. What I think SP needed was the option to buy an actual mansion or two. Nothing super large but at least the size of Michael's place or Franklin's place. Just a little variety. One splendid condo in Del Perro, one vintage mansion, and one minimalist mansion. A.O.D.88

Geralt of Rivia
Something I've always wondered: Are there any code/files that show scrapped safehouse buying for SP? Because if so, that's what likely happened with that gameplay trailer. It was planned, and then subsequently scrapped. Someone who's gone through the game's organs would have to tell us that, though. Choco Taco
They were definitely talking about single player when they mentioned Los Santos real estate. It's not even up for debate. After all of that, they said, "And then, there's Grand Theft Auto Online." fac316, Official General, Cutter De Blanc and 4 others

Choco Taco
That was the single player gameplay trailer. They made a separate trailer for online. In the gameplay trailer, they never mentioned any features in online. They only said they'd talk about it later. They showed the single player heists and said you choose what to spend your money on and they included Los Santos real estate in the choices. Bobby Smith
If you're using a PC you can download a mod that will open all of the interiors (Including Tequila-La-La) that Rockstar has robbed of us from entering.. https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/open-all-interiors does framerate drop? That's interesting. Why did R* lock out interiors?? for next gen, I think NPCs should drop home and car keys, they need to bring back robbing people's homes, and the rewards for it HAVE TO BE MATHEMATICALLY ON POINT.
