Now, as a small insight from me... I don't think Merle intended to stop at 8. I think the 8 became an infinity the moment he realized his thirst was not quenched at 8. The first time I saw the "There will be 8", saying in game I thought it was referring to how many GTA's were planned for development. Especially because it has the 4 marks with a line through it to indicate 5 below the saying. I thought the 5 mark was indicating we are in GTA V now. An answer as to what happend to Merle and what the Infinite 8 were/are. This has captivated me a hell of a lot more than the mural on Chiliad. Utter kudos to Rockstar for the LA Noire/Black Dahlia style mystery they created here! Okay first off. Every number other then 8 described a ending in a sense Then why are their 8 bodies? If 8 won't wait? Why bother with the number 8 all the time and end up only doing half the of the number 8 when he was locked up in prison? When he's at Merle's house he points out a pair of running shoes hanging up, and says Merle must've kept these as a souvenir...well I've spotted a very similar pair hanging up at the place where someone is growing weed. Plus, I got a taxi there, and whilst I was looking around this taxi came back, smashed up and driving around, but with no driver...for ages too it was going nuts. Also, "four called mum" who is mum?? The Islands look like an angel 2. If you real carefully as one of the waves are crashing in the angel shaped islands, there is an angel!!!!! Maybe the angels are the victims of infinite 8. Charles Manson and his "family" Were mostly known for killing Sharon Tate (who was pregnant) at the Polanski home after thinking the home was still in possession of Brian Wilson of the Beach boys. Charles was wanting revenge for a song of his that was "stolen" (IIRC) Charles and crew lived on that very property a few months previous due to a barter agreement. The "sisters" were/are a whole other story They were "political advocates" as they would put it. One was even arrested for an assassination plot and attempt. This killer is more like a reverse Green River Killer He was known for having mass graves along the coast of OR and WA. He was and also still is suspected of murders and graves as far south the I-5 line as San Diego. Only difference here is Merle targeted young men jogging and GRK was known for hunting women. Some people may think Zodiac (In some ways I do agree) but zodiac never really handled a body. He would always leave them where they died and it was usually couples... In the early parts of the Uni-Bomber trial ppl tried to tie the two together because Uni was a mathematician at Berkley university and the ciphers Zodiac left were never completely solved and people speculated it had come from a math genius of unknown merit when the ciphers were being decoded. Hunting a serial killer has been a part of GTA for a while.... ever hear of the Green River Killer? He dumped in groups... Suspected of unsolved murders in San Diego. He is not exactly synonymous with the Green River Killer OR the Zodiac. He is a pastiche of several serial killers, not one in particular. The cryptic clues/messages is what makes him similar to Zodiac, and also that this is set in California. His motivations for killing seems to be to gain some kind of mystic power, much like the Zodiac (who said that if you killed people they were your slaves in the afterlife). GRK was mosty in Portland and Washington, but you are right that him dumping them in groups is similar to the Infinity Killer. Jock Cranley pushed his wife Jolene off the cliff but claimed it was an accident. It doesn't have anything to do with the other two murderers in the game. It should be the one that has a slanted table on it with information on the mountain or something like that. I think there is two of these platforms on top of the mountain, but the one I'm talking about is the one that is on the highest part of that whole outlook and it just northeast of the cable cars. Like I was saying, I think it has something that is quite unusual and I think it has something to do with this whole infinite 8 mystery. Here's how to find what I'm talking about: If you go to the right platform/deck thing, and you look under it where it sits on the mountain...you can see red paint and the paint says something. I personally can't make out what it says. There is also some shapes under there too. By the way on that same platform, if you go to it and get behind the platform so you're facing south, it says something about 100% completion of the game and that something will unlock when you complete 100%. I agree about it being a mashup. Zodiac left ciphers though and had to be decrypted. IIRC some of them werent figured out at all. My friend's hand writing is quite bad when he wrote it down, so this is what I think the website's url is: altruistinite.com or altruistenite.com Or replace the last "t" with a "L"(lowercase) on either URL's if they don't work. The website is really wierd and has stars as the background. There is no text on the page there is just some wierd slashes and dotts that look something like this: /.. ..--.. ... . .. ./ / . . ./ ... / . ^ I made that up but that is what i think it sort of looks like all over the page. It is also in pharagraphs. I'm hoping someone can go on their phone and go on the internet and translate this website, it could solve some questions and give some answers.
