I am very disappointed that vigilante is not available in GTA V.

The purpose of this is to solicit Rockstar Games to adding the vigilante feature to Grand Theft Auto V.
In light of the recent disappearing car glitch we think we have a one time opportunity to convince Rockstar to add the vigilante feature. They have said they "are looking into a fix," which implies that they will be releasing an update / revision to the game. We think that it is possible to convince them to add vigilante with this update if we have enough support.
To show your support please follow vigilanteingtav on twitter, also and advise other GTA fans to do the same! We believe Rockstar will listen to their fans.
Here are the reasons we think vigilante should be added:
1. GTA is about hunting people down. Vigilante was always a quick non-story related way to do that. While the story in GTAV is quite captivating, sometimes you want to just drive after a target without the story agenda.
2. Let me be clear that we are most interested in the GTA III series version of vigilante as opposed to the GTA IV version. The escalation of vigilante from level to level gave the player a clear objective, to reach a higher level than before (I think I made it to level ten once). This required continuously improving skill level and strategic decisions. It was an on going endless objective that outlasted the story missions.

3. Vigilante often lead to crazy, unpredictable and otherwise not experienced situations. Everything from shooting out a target vehicle's gas tank while rolling upside down, to the target running over a crowd of pedestrians. You never new what was going to happen, even after years of playing the game!

4. It used to be that you would cause a whole bunch of trouble just for the purposes of hijacking a heavy duty police vehicle like a swat van or FBI hummer. It was a difficult task, but worth it. Now (in GTA V) there is no motivation to steal police vehicles.

5. Strategy was a key component in being successful at vigilante (and may have been an unintended coincidence by the game design). Accumulating enough time to repair your vehicle and to load up on ammunition was key / also the decision as to when and where to do it was of great importance and sometimes meant the difference between passing to the next level and failure.

6. We haven't had the old style vigilante since the GTA III series on the old gaming consoles. Adding this white knuckle / edge of seat / retro feature to this modern game with exquisite graphics and landscape is the ultimate combination.

Let me be clear this is not a complaint, this is a plea. GTA V is a great game which took a lot of hard work and innovation to turn out. Yet with the advertising, hype and delays we were expecting perfection. It will never be perfect without old school vigilante!
