Also in the Lago Zancudo marsh there is a weird bird. All black except the bill, not quite a duck, not quite a pelican. I don't know what it is, I'm no ornithologist. It's about the size of a large goose though. I've seen them often, if anyone with bird knowledge wants to go ID it. Also there are butterflies hovering around flowers. I don't think you can interact with them much. When speeding away in a car I hit a crow once, and Trevor yelled out "bird hit!" or something. I'm not sure what those other flying birds in the desert are, falcons or vultures, maybe both. I am surprised though more of RDR's animals were not used, as someone else said. I thought armadillos would be all over the desert, same with skunks. One of the previews mentioned seeing squirrels but I have never seen one, I don't think they're in, probably a misidentification. Chilliad in a vehicle and a hiker was in his way on the trail and as he was waiting for the right time to pass the hiker, a mountain lion runs up and attacks the hiker and the guy drives up the mountain screaming into the mic lol. I also saw a hiker get attacked, well 2 of them. Same thing but I was walking on foot up the mountain and luckily the mountain lion spawned in front of me instead of behind me and killed the two hikers in front of me, well I pushed one over while running away and she fell and I watched her gett eaten with my shotgun aimed at the animal, killed it right after that incident. I was running from the cops in an alleyway and the cop slams into a dumpster and like 20 or 30 rats came running out, it was disgusting! For me I'm mostly content with the animals but there is 4 I felt should have made the cut. -Bears as a uncommon animal in the Woods -Horses in Blaine County even if you couldn't ride them, it would be cool to see farms with them or at least npcs riding them sometimes. -Cats in Los Santos. I felt it was lacking a bit on animals makes sense it's the city. they could have spawned a few more dogs and some alley cats. Also at night Coyotes are known to sometimes sneak into the city. -Raccoon's another animal known for sneaking into the city at night, Also has anyone tested if the aggressive animals will attack npcs? Like kiting a mountain lion near some npcs to see if it will attack? Or Knocking some people off their boat near sharks? I also saw a screenshot of a Octopus, but I haven't seen it myself yet. They seriously missed an opportunity to freak people out by not having a Chupacabras in and around the desert areas... not a real creature, but since so many people insist that coyotes with mange are Chupacabras, it could have been as easy as making a slightly freakier skin texture for the coyotes. That's all I've come across yet. Disappointed Los Angeles zoo didn't make it. Maybe a bit scared of animal activists, even though they could of just disabled weapons there.
