To all the people boo-hooing about gang wars: you guys really lack imagination if you can't create situations in the game without a structured format. My favorite thing to do right now is to play as Franklin, hang out with Lamar, and go to Grove Street and shoot Ballas or Rancho to shoot some Vagos. Sure, it doesn't go into a wave countdown thing, but you get every gangster on the block after you, as well as any driving by and, best of all, the police, and it works out to have much more interesting shootouts than anything in San Andreas. It's a lot more realistic too, while still being fun. And foot chases from the police in the ghetto are so great, you'd be amazed how detailed the back alleys and industrial lots are.

 

A lot of the problems people have with the game are because they lack the imagination to do anything that isn't explained to them with instructions at the bottom of the screen.

 

The gang wars in SA were reptitive and ridiculously easy anyway.
