Invisible cops in the subway

If you get into a shootout with the cops, then proceed down to the bottom level of the subway station, where the tracks are, the cops seem to become invisible and don't show up on the radar.

 

This sucks, big time. You can't hold off the cops because suddenly, out of nowhere, you get muzzle flashes (on their own, just hovering) right next to your face. And then you're dead.

 

Try it for yourself (or not). This game sucks for holding off the cops, unfortunately. The subway must be the only decent place (out of the very, very few interiors/locations) to have a shoot out with em.

Are they ever going to fix this ? I don't get it. This game is just a huge glitch party! I was able to pick off the first couple invisible cops but as soon as my wanted level hit 4 stars they were on top of me. Why do they have to let the cops cheat so much? Same thing if cops are chasing you in a car and you drive up a steep hill to lose them, they stayed glued to you as if they have magic 4×4 cop cars. Lame!
