it works if you create your rockstar social club account and link your PSN account, i made 50 million on it yesterday. You are on the internet right now and the social club account is free to make so clearly you can pull it off if you wanted to. but other than that I agree with you, this game blows after you beat the story missions and is very unfinished and has a lot of bugs. You just have to rob stuff over and over for peanuts or buy the movie theatre if you can, its payout is 200,000 some odd dollars a week, which isnt much but helps, most of the other properties dont pay enough to even make it worth buying them, but i havent looked them all up so im not sure, i bought a couple that payed like 900 or 1500 a week and cost half a mill, what a joke. there is some cheat where you can keep getting some underwater treasure thing that gives you a few thousand over and over as long as you want, but thats pretty lame, not many legit ways to make money, but you dont really need money either, theres nothing to spend it on thats worth buying anyway, lol

well there is really not much to do in this game after you beat it so I just keep a save file with my millions of dollars after I beat it and then i go screw around buying guns and cars and modding them and shooting cops or whatever and if i run out of money i just reload that save and do it again, but it gets boring pretty quick and you cant save more than a few cars you mod anyway, so there is no point to saving again when you spent all the cash.

Check the guide in my signature and you can net billions and billions of dollars easily if you follow the correct order of steps. If thats not an option here are a few suggestions.

1. Complete the Epsilon missions (http://www.ign.com/wikis/gta-5/Seeking_the_Truth) and that will get you about $2,000,000.

2. Buy the Sonar Dock and grab all the waste in the ocean. This will give you $715K minus the $250K it costs to buy so you profit just under half a million here.

3. Get all the hidden brief cases in the ocean (another $170K).

4. There are a few random character missions to make money. There are a few shootout moments in the northern region where you can take brief cases and get about $25K from each one. There is a man who gets his bike stolen and if you recover it you will get $100K. There is a woman in the park on the northeast of the map who is about to be murdered that will give you $60K for saving her. Google the locations, cant remember exactly where they are but they are all well known.

5. There is a man on the west side of the map about halfway up that will give you a tip about a stock rise in Tinkle (google his location). If you have not done this random character mission yet then you should put all the money you have on hand into Tinkle for each character and then go find him. You will gain about 33% profit on what you put in. If you do this make sure you do the other steps first to maximize your gain.
