I've played probably about 60 hours, maybe more after last nights session, and I am loving every minute of it! How the hell can you possibly get bored? f*ck, the past 3 days I've played strictly as Trevor searching all over the place for god damn scuba gear to search underwater for guns from a crashed plane. Couldn't find any, but even on that little adventure of searching all over the place I've encountered tons of little things. Funniest thing was when I was searching down at a dock in the countryside and came across some hill billy dancing by himself out front of his trailer to the song "If you want a piece of heaven, you gotta raise a little hell" lol. Took some selfies with him and Trevor then murdered him. And took another selfie. Eventually decided I guess I need to buy the sonar collection dock but seeing as I didn't have 250k on me since I dropped it all on weapons, and hospital bills, and tatoos, and hair cuts, and clothes, and cars, and everything and anything I can drop a few bucks on, I had to put in some work shipping guns. This game is all about what you make it. You're bored because you lack imagination. As a self proclaimed pothead myself, I love waking up in the morning as Franklin, walking upstairs, hitting my bong and talking to myself about how much everybody hates me. Its f*ckin hilarious lol. I picked up a hitchhiker while cruising around and now she is Trevors f*ck buddy. f*ck man, this game has endless possibilites. I get so deep into this world some times that I just sit back and listen to the radio! The country talk radio is awesome! "The dentist's are putting metal in your teeth so that private government agencies can read your thoughts" Bwhahaha! f*ck, when I do get bored, its in game bored, and it is easily remedied by doing something with whatever character you are playing at the moment. If you're Trevor, go ahead and huff some gas and run around in your undies. If you're Franklin, smoke some dope, check out the telescope. Hit up the strip club or just watch some TV. All that sh*t is there for when you are BORED! This game f*ckin rules! Its a mixture of comedy, crime and drama and I just can't get enough of it. The emotions that go through you as you play this game are incredible. I find myself laughing out loud at some points, incredibly surprised at other points, and still at other times, the adrenaline is pumping through my veins. The way they've created it makes a lot of sense to me. After high octane action sequences I find myself taking a time out just to chill and spend some of that paper! If you are bored, try doing something you haven't done yet. I am 94 hours into the game and I still have sh*t loads of stuff to do eg: car races, water races, off road races, waste collecting, letter collecting, sub and spaceship parts collecting, managing my stocks, flying under bridges, looking for hidden vehicles, police chases and the list goes on and on. There is so much stuff you couldn't have possibly done yet so go back and think of things to do and stop complaining. This game is packed with content. Start trying new things. Edit: I'll add that I am at 84% completion currently, and far from being bored. orlmagicman98 Posted September 27, 2013 Author Share Posted September 27, 2013 There's literally dozens of things I'm going to try like taking a bus up Mt Chiliad and I feel like I haven't seen all of the map either. Maybe it's not so much boredom, but game exhaustion. It seems most of us have put a ridiculous amount of hours into it already and it hasn't been out for two weeks. Would anyone say it's boring after say 15 hours? The game's not really boring. You've just played too much in a short amount of time. BettyBlueGT Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 This is why Rockstar didn't show off a video like the kind Ubisoft have done with AC4 because they knew we would notice flaws in things like the police system and cars blowing up so easily and such and hold off on buying the game till Black Friday.
