It is pretty subtle, it's not like it's some obnoxious thing like you're making it out to be. Plus it's nice that you can always be certain that you killed the person you were just shooting, not that they just fell down for a moment. Plus hit markers can be easily overlooked in heated situations. I love that screen flash. The X was enough. Watching them die is enough. Also, easy mode. Just another thing they did to make this game NOOB FRIENDLY. "everything is made to be fun and responsive"! = dumbed down and noob friendly. Now you can never be worried to look away too soon cause that guy might get back up - easy mode. The X was more than enough. Noob friendly? Maybe. But it's helpful for experienced players too. Go up against police in a shootout with free aim, sh*t isn't easy as you start getting more stars. Does the screen flash make it easier? No. It's just helpful. Just like you can turn off the blur effect in RDR. How can you turn it off on PS3?? Eveytime I kill somebody I keep thinking I get shot. It should be like that instead of the screen flashing wile killing somebody, it should flash when you get shot. Cause I dont no about anybody else, when im in a shoot out, im really not paying any attention to my health-bar, and I have no clue when im getting shot and next thing I now im blinking red and then im dead. Iv been playing GTA sense GTA3 and never really notices anything like this sense I clicked on this thread:) Like I said, in my opinion, it should be the opposite. I also hate the fact that enemies die when you punch them. It's sad that there is people out that that need this sort of rubbish to play the game. It's time to rate games R for Retarded.
