Flesh-n-Bone Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 (edited) I have to admit that it's not the game I hoped it would be, beating San Andreas as my all-time favorite but even though it doesn't get to that level, I prefer it a million times to GTA IV. This game has made me realize that I'll always be a III-era guy just because the cartoony, over the top nature of those games appeal to me the most but one has to adapt to the next generation and with the new modified gameplay for V, I've had it much easier with the new features compared to when I first played IV. Some of the complaints are hilarious here. I didn't even know the "flying out the car" thing still exists. Have had high speed crashes a few times and it's never happened to me. I don't find them that annoying, but hey people wanted them to be more aggressive than they were in GTA IV. -From my experience this seems a lot harder to do than in GTA IV. It's only happened to me once in 43 hours of gameplay. -Completely subjective. Some of the songs in GTA V are pretty good to me. -Fair enough. -I'm pretty sure traffic A.I in every GTA has been kind of horrid. -I picked up a white prostitute last night? You need to go to other areas than just the ghetto. -If R*'s biggest map is small what do you consider big? -Are you for real? Out of everything you could possibly complain about you pick something that isn't even a series staple? Who gives a sh*t. I'm not going to hate on you because you're entitled to your own opinon, but you said you liked GTA 4, but then said this map was generic? LOL. And also how can you say there isn't much to do? There is an unbelivable amount of things to do in this GTA. And having JB Smoove and Kenny Powers make appearances on talk channels makes it that much more incredible. Absolutely love the music. Granted, I was born in the early 80's, so..... GTA 4 came out and amazed me because it was the first HD GTA, had a great story, the physics were amazing etc etc... GTA V however just bores me, I'm 17 hours in and I'm done, though tbh I was done 10 hours ago. I bought the game on the launch day and I've struggled to want to play it. My friends reflect my opinion, we were all so excited and none of them played after day 2 and none of us have any plans to return for the online... they missed the boat for that. It's really the first GTA that hasn't done anything new or amazing... - The driving physics suck over 4. - Car damage sucks - Take too much damage - The world is boring, feels generic - lack of interiors (This game has less interiors and things to do than 4) - The story sucks - The characters suck - Boring missions etc etc.. I can come up with so many faults in the game that make me not like it over 4 or previous games and I'm just bored with the rest of the game, even the radios suck.... The game isn't funny, just f*cking boring and doesn't feel like a GTA game, it's like a B team made it and the map feels so tiny, they claim it's massive but I can travel to each end in 5 mins :\ SA has a much better map.. Such a let down, it's an even bigger disappointment to me than Max Payne 3 last year... like Rockstar have just out done Blizzard and Bioware in biggest disappointments ever, GTA V is number on for me. I just cannot help but feel what if this was a PC exclusive? Most of what you said was just opinion. I respect but COMPLETELY disagree with everything you said except for the interiors. After years of waiting I'm still more than happy to be playing it after the 17th. I just beat the game and loved every second of it. Sure, it has interiors in free roam but it honestly doesn't matter because the scope, characters, detail, and everything seems spot on. The story is alright but isn't powerful in anyway like RDR was. I think I found the root if the problem tho, there are two options here. GTA:ONLINE They could have pulled a COD here, which is they only focused on multiplayer and just included the story mode because they had to. All features are online exclusive. Or ASSASSINS CREED 3 They could have pulled a assassins creed 3 here, they only focus on graphics and some feature that they thought would be cool BUT they forgot to add in what made the series special. I started dislikeing the newer games and realized it wasnt the games that sucked but my opinion of them because I was burnt out!!! GTA... I played 3 alot. Vice City religiously. San Andreas constantly. Was hyped about 4 but only played it for about a week and still havent put it back in... It wasn't 4 that sucked but once again I was just burnt out on the whole experience. Now that it's been a good six years since I played I absolutly love gta 5! Because it's new to me again!!!
