Do you have fun crashing cars?

In GTA IV, something a lot of us did was take a vehicle, often a Patriot or fire truck and just career down the road with it wrecking cars just to see how much damage you could cause them.

 

My question is do you still do that ? Given that major impacts only break windows, knock off wheels and take te bumpers off but little else do you still find it fun to crash?

 

I actually find myself avoiding crashing now when I can.

I would, but too much damage and the car seems to explode out of nowhere or I fly out the windshield already dead. It's just not as much fun to crash for me as it was in IV.

Super annoying when the front wheel gets impacted and the car will only do 20mph and won't turn worth a damn

some vehicles still do a lot of physical damage to other smaller cars, just use a 18 wheelers (even without a trailer), the cement truck and a few others. I've bent a few cars left and right.

 

At some point, I had some 1 seater white 18 wheelers truck without a trailer, it was going quite fast and wouldn't get stopped for anything. I was in a pursuit, ran into a police car so hard on a bridge, it hit the middle cement wall, bent in half, then blew up ... and of course made my own vehicle, the 2 other police cars and the truck next to me explode. It was a fun death

I hate the way front end damage wrecks the steering so soon in V.

 

Also it's annoying when you hit another vehicle and you hear their horn stuck on letting you know they are dead. Do none of the cars have airbags?

 

I've not done a lot driving for the sake of it yet. That will come once I have competed the game. Generally though I am happy with the driving.

I dont like how they easily explode while falling off a hill. I like the damage, it is still good as GTA4 if you dont mod armor on your car. stop infront of train and see for yourself.

i like the damage physics in gta 5 when you wreck your car its believable looking but when you drive your car off a cliff it gets wrecked most of the time but explosions are 50% of the time

I liked how the car looked after you crashed it in GTA IV more than i do in GTA V, but im fine with it either way to be honest. I prefer not to crash cars as i like to see how fast i can go and how close i can get to other cars withouht crashing etc. So crashing for me defeats the purpose.

it was like that in IV,and there were never any airbags,in any gta..

I can't do this in V because within 10 seconds of me ramming though a traffic jam a sniper would kill me from a police chopper.

actually i really like driving at high speed and crashing into objects and watching the character fly out of the wind shield tumbling around lol. it really does make me laugh out loud

I just wish the cars didn't blow up so easily when launching off mountains, etc... I love seeing how much and can just launch and roll...

The whole moving your car in the air thing is a little strang, however I suppose you don't have to use that funtion.

Drove off a bridge once while being tailed by a angry driver I flipped off.

The fire crew had to scrape my burned corpse off of the road.
