Stock markets not changing

I'm about 50% through the game and I've read that the stock market prices are supposed to update every 30 seconds. I've bought multiple stocks and they've never changed. I've had certain stocks for days and not seen a single change. The ones For the Lester missions changed the way they were supposed to but anything I buy on my own never changes. Any advice or anyone else getting a similar problem? This happens with both markets
