1 Star for looking at someone

This has happened to me several times, usually at the cable car area near Mount Chiliad. Just now, I was standing there waiting for a cable car, not even touching any buttons when a women calls the cops on me for absolutely no reason (I wasn't even staring at her) at all and getting me 1 star which turned to 3 stars after a while and getting chased through more than half the state. I ended up getting gunned down on the beach. Honestly getting really annoyed at this and it should be fixed.

Walked into a clothes store was walkin around just lookin around at clothes and got 1 star. Must be glitched cops or sumthin

For me, no matter who I play as, peds are extremely hostile. Even just accidentally stepping into someone's driveway while trying to SnapMatic their car, they (1-3) will walk right up, hit me, 3 on 1, then I get a wanted level and subsequently shot to death because the cops are too lazy to just arrest someone.

Happened with me after I was harrasing peds with franklin. I was just pressing bthe right button and I heard a female say she was going to call the cops. And I got a 1 star. f*cking awesome!

I think they should implement where if someone calls the cops on you for just standing there they go after them instead of you lol.

either way it should not happen, its too sensitive. 1 star for staring at someone in a video game is way over the top. Its supposed to be fun, i have completed the game by the way, but its obviously happening to other players.

Parked my car at the side of the road while I went to make a coffee, returned a few minutes later to see a cop dragging Michael from the car and busting him. WTF?!?

If Trevor was just standing there staring at me.... I'd probably feel like calling the cops too..... but I wouldn't

the other day i stood next to a police woman, before i know it she randomly points a gun at me, i move slightly and end up with 2 stars, very annoying.

 

This happened to me the first time i was at the impound lot.

I was standing there looking at the list of cars in impound, deciding which one to get out and there were two cops about 10 feet away who got agitated, then they drew their guns out on me and started shooting.

I REALLY thought I wasn't supposed to goto the impound. I was so confused. I thought if you were on the property of the police station, you'd get in trouble so I didn't understand how I was supposed to get a car out of impound, without getting a wanted level.

My solution was to come driving full throttle so fast that I'd pass the policemen standing nearby so fast and slammed down to the garage doors, kinda hid. Then I'd pick my car and speed out of there. A big pain in the butt.

It wasn't until 2 days ago I realized that was just kinda a random thing and that it's OK to goto the impound.

I think it's a pretty small thing to get upset about. But that's only my opinion. I think I can explain why I think it's in the game, though; if anyone actually cares. 1.) I think it was meant to give the player the illusion that the AI and peds have a will of thier own. What the programmers may not have thought enough about (or maybe thought too much about) is what players would actually do with peds. Like hanging in one spot just looking at them. Especially bored players. 2.) R* has always dished out ample amounts of social commentary. I believe this "feature" is meant, at least in part, to parody the heightened (and unwarranted, I might add) state of paranoia in the U.S. Personally, I think I prefer a little annoying behavior occasionally from the ped AI than them being just eye candy. And if you were to go out and just stare at random people on the street as they went about thier little lives, you'd likely get the police called on you as well.

I was walking on the Vespucci beach and was listening to a bloke talking to his friend, his friend then walks away and the guy says to me whats my problem, he then says ive had enough im calling the cops.

 

Why does it do this, i think the whole public calling the cops is a decent idea but it seems to be a big issue in this game.

Only with Trevor but its funny. Usually l knock them out before the make the call or just lose the 1 star fast I fi need too. Its all good. Trevor loves it.
