Lunytunes
Lol... After getting all of the letters and spaceship parts I've decided that I do not like golf enough to redo this and do not care enough about 100% completion to restart the whole game. Nice info though. What are you talking about? You do no not need to buy the golf course in order to get 100% completion. If anything, this is great for getting the A Lot of Cheddar acheevo/trophy. I don't want to worry about that in that sense anyway. Completing 100% seems possible now.
Cyc2u
It sucks that you cant do this stuff or get big money unless you finish the main story. Once the story is done, whats the point? Game over. They did this game backwards. You spend most of the story broke, waiting for that big paycheck, and it doesnt come until the credits roll. Bah. Vin89
in my view they should have madeinvesting during the Lester missions mandatory since it's actually pretty damn important, i didn't invest and finished the game with maybe 20 million per character? the golf club costs $150,000,000 which is needed for 100% completion and they give you no decent way of making any decent money after the story, pretty badly thought out if you ask me. literally no one i know invested in what Lester said to invest in and now their all screwed with no way off getting 100%, restarting the game again isn't exactly the most appealing thing in the world... so much annoyance could have been avoided by making the investments mandatory. Uhm, yes you can actually still invest in the stock market. Don't know if this works with LCN after completion but BAWSAQ is very possible. It might take a month or two but with some brains you'll get there. A few days ago I followed a tip someone here gave out about investing into Pißwasser as it was surely going up. I did so with 30 mil and made a huge profit. Do these things a couple of times and you'll have your 150mil and more in no time...

Why are people believing / thinking that you need to purchase the golf course for 100% completion? The Misc. needed for 100% completion requires you to "Purchase any 5 Properties." Key word there is ANY.

Nope-- each character can-- you just can't buy from other characters while in the missions Isn't there a limit around 2,1 billions? Yes... limit is 2.147 billion ($2^31) @ OP... thanks for guide and posting up your ivestment/earnings-- there is alot of info out there on these things but most are incomplete as far as percentage returns and timing.... You should really include the "story" investments too--- ie "flyus" investment after the mission where you chase molly (it tanks by 50% but recovers), gold coast, etc.... Still waiting for that perfect guide that not only has ALL the story investments but ALSO the percentage returns AND the timing of each. It's not the game's fault you didn't utilize it's mechanics. GTA rewards smart people sometimes.
drheisenberg
but what's the point of having a lot of money? what can you do with it? can you buy skyscrapers? I mean, what happens if the game finishes? Will you be transfering that money to the online gam? If not, what's the point then if it's all just offline? Yes they can- just have to invest before the mission (each of my characters got just over 80% return)-- they all invested prior to Franklin walking up to Lester to start the mission and they all had a return of 80%+ For those that have not done this-- on my game-- immediately after the mission ends the Betta stock bumps up 50% (before you have time to invest)-- then slowly went up to about 82% before droping off rapidly-- peaks at about 20 real minutes after mission ends. If you invest after the mission then yes I agree-- Trevor and Michael will not get the max profit. But if you invest before with each of your characters, you will get the maximum profit. You can buy all the businesses available-- you need to purchase some for 100% (any 5 if I remember correctly) and I believe there is a Trophy/achievement for spending $200,000,000-- so if you want platinum, you need at least that much-- but yes-- if it is not transferable to GTA:O then yes..... relatively useless. drheisenberg
well I don't really care about it, I just like to do missions and fly/drive around . And is it true that you have to pay real money for GTA money in GTA online? That would suck !
Jozzborne
Not trying to be a dick but I basically posted this same thread the day before this one started. Only difference is that mine includes a ton of extra details that this one missed and mine will easily net you over $6 Billion between the three characters. Not sure why anyone would follow one that makes you half of what the other does. I would recommend sticking to the link in my sig.

Not sure why anyone would follow one that makes you half of what the other does. I would recommend sticking to the link in my sig. I've actually bookmarked both yours and this one-- each has details the other doesn't-- both need more info-- yours would be better if you had actual dollar amounts before and after each move and a little more info on the timing of selling. IMO yours is better (has more info) but I think you should re-write yours-- at least put your last 2 parapgraphs closer to the top as you should do these before your first assassination mission (so you start with more money). You should also do like this guide and indicate clearly when you should invest... example-- yours doesn't specify when you should invest in Debonaire for the 2nd assasination mission (Before or after the mission) I've gotten a good way through the story but have not had much time to play the past week-- I just did the "chase molly" mission and went all in on FLYUS-- it dropped by about 1/2 after doing that mission. I did make money on the first assasination but didn't know about investing in Bilkington after pulling out of Betta. Anyway-- thanks to both of you for putting out this info-- I'm pretty sure I have enough opportunity to salvage at least a billion per character. Here is what you can expect if you have just the payout from the final heist and the remaining assassination missions and the random character encounter that recommends Tinkle-- assuming a $32,000,000 payout for final mission and nothing else.... $ 32,000,000.00 $ 57,600,000.00 80% return on Debonaire (2nd Assassination) $ 172,800,000.00 300% return on Redwood (2nd Assassination) $ 259,200,000.00 50% return on ifruit (3rd Assassination) $ 518,400,000.00 100% return on Vapid (4th Assassination) $ 933,120,000.00 80% return on Gold Coast (5th Assassination) $1,241,049,600.00 33 return on Tinkle (random character) Edited September 29, 2013 by Spuds725 Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games.... Heisenberg666
Made about $700,000,000 each. Not quite 1 billion but there's no way I can spend all this. Quite good since I finished the game with only 16 mill per character.
