It has risen quite dramatically since then but we still don't know if that's because of the huge buying people have been doing for hte last couple of days. Moment of truth will be in little over 11 hours when people are supposed to mass sell every singe PIS stock they have. If the prices start to drop all of a sudden, then YAY, we can influence them offline. If they keep rising it's most likely scripted or only influenced by people playing online (beta testers). You don't have to worry about it really. If you reach it, it doesn't go minus or anything like that. You just can't get over it, so every money you get after you reached the limit will just be "lost". example: if you sell stocks for 3 billion, the game will give you $2,147,483,647 and the rest will be lost. There is no market cap for these artificial companies (a very important part of real stocks and shares). The whole "supply & demand" thing they're betting on is totally non existent. Actions will determine the share prices, like buying guns, numbers of people logged on, people buying shark cards, types of cars used... Not buying and selling. Assuming bawsaq prices can be influenced by offline buying and selling and that it bases it on your SC account, multiple saves will not influence it. I tried this yesterday with a savegame from before I invested and after reloading it a second time my investments were gone from the SC website. So SC information only uses one savegame to base its statistics on. Meaning it isn't that far fetched that IF bawsaq can be influenced by offline characters, it will base its price on the same savegame. 10.89 PSN now and i'm almost at 4 Billion profit for Michael. So yeah, go for it. Don't expect miracles and invest heavily to at least get some profits. Tens of millions at least if you have that kind of cash. Keep a back up safe if you don't trust it.
