LOL, Everybody is running about trying to buy PIS when a few days ago, I bought a huge amount of HAL for 1 dollar each, and its now 3 dollars, that right there is 3 million for 1 million and I bought about 10 mil for each character XD

I gained on the same rise... just didn't have so much on it.

 

Why is it LOL though? Stocks aren't like a game of football... stop celebrating and put your profit back in....

You can make small profits by keeping an eye on certain stocks on an hourly/daily baisis.... Some rise sharply every friday and sunday for example, then fall again by Monday.... You can make a nice safe income every monday by riding that wave...irl the risk when you have many of these going on, is that they start to change days frequencys etc, and you have to pay close attention to many at the same time.... oooh the stresses of making bare G on the stock market..

How connected do you guys really think the stock market is between different players? There are SP missions that dramatically affect the stocks during the course of the game, and those obviously don't affect other players since they are timed to the story arc.

 

What is the prevailing thought on this? Is it that all non-story arc stocks are connected? Or that they connect after story completion? Something else?

Until GTA:O comes out, the stock market in SP is not affected by what others invest in and such right? I read somewhere that it's random numbers until online is released, and that is when what others do can affect you. So posting stock prices now for other people is not that relevant(and kinda pointless), except for yourself if you wanna keep track.

As long as you are willing to reload your game-- there isn't ANY risk with any investment-- your save slots act as a time machine-- (unlike real life ) - just make sure you create an extra save when you make a big (or risky investment)-- at least in single player.

I made three saves; first is all money on HAL, second is all money on PIS and third is a back up save in case I screwed up on both saves.
