GTA Connections in Other Media

Recommended Posts

Two things I noticed last night while watching TV, waiting for the wife to go to bed so I could fire up GTA:

I watched the season premiere of Person of Interest. In a bar scene, I saw the actor who played Trevor. He had that partially balding, five o'clock shadow look, same crazy look in his sunken eyes. Unfortunately he didn't have any lines. And no, he didn't whip his d*** out.

Another thing - I noticed during a talk show that took a woman for a behind the scenes look at The Price Is Right: the font the show uses for its title is the same font as GTA's. Surprised I never noticed this before. But it gave me an idea for a mission - As Trevor, you are given an assassination job to kill the host of a popular game show, contracted by someone who got shafted as a contestant or perhaps by the host of a rival show, some guy named Allan Trebeksky. You get up on stage and find out your potential prize is a BRAND NEW CAR (*jump up and down here*)!!! Thrilled, you play the game but lose. But this is GTA, you make your own rules. So you then kill the host, jack the ride, and bulldoze your way through throngs of panicked audience members and out the door. You lament the fact that you didn't really need a new car, considering you steal one every 15 minutes out on the street. You would really like to have won that a new living room set, considering the one at your safehouse is covered in beer, crumbs, vomit, and feces.

Anyone else see GTA related stuff outside of the game?
