Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

You are half right.

 

The UFO's look like eyes, because they are the eyes in the sky. This predates its use in GTA.

Ok let's go back to the roots:

 

-the mural is facing north east.

-mt chiliad has the same shaped of the mural when we are in front of it, try from the paleto cable car station.

- there are two entrances: on the north side of the mountain at middle height and on the south side near the base of mt. Chiliad.

- there are lighting and some sort of raylights in the mural: maybe the entrances are visible only when the area is lit by a lighting.

- it may require 100% completion.

- it may be linked to a specific moon phase.

 

 

I don't thin we should read too much into it. If my hypothesis is true it will be logical(like the ufo or killer 8 easter eggs) but also very unlikely to find the entrances by accident.

What if the picture on mt chiliad is a clue for the next place to look. The red arrows with the mountain an ufo symbols leads u straight to the mountain. Why should there be another clue on top of the mountain. Its kinda double. What if the overlay has to be placed somewhere else. Like over the uv map with the cult camp and the symbol there

I'll have to partially agree on how you play the game that has some sort of effect... Why else would you get a psych evaluation at the end of your story? Yes it's a nice added little feature but knowing Rockstar it has to have some sort of purpose...

I'm new and I'm a codes and crypography nut. (I sat around screwing with Kryptos the sculpture in the center of the real CIA buildings encrypted text for the past 10 years trying to solve the last section).... You guys are all making it way more complicated than it is. if this is an epic easter egg it's not going to require convoluted solutions to solve. Also I think this has something to do with Epislon because if you know the real story of Scientology they think that the souls of people were stored in a volcano by aliens and then a nuclear bomb was dropped on the mountain....

Well, there was that one nuclear bomb you had from Merryweather on the bottom of the ocean they 'got rid of'

Wouldn't that be a joke if you have to take it up top on that platform and set it off Trinity style. Maybe in online mode?

You don't do this kind of thing TWICE unless you want someone to pay attention to it.

 

Yeah that's the same 5 holes as the top of the mountain. Go over to the hippy camp and look at it. There's actually 6 but the spacing is THE SAME and the hill looks like a mountain with the RED dot on top like the red glyph atop that mountain.

Tje hippy camp gives the same info as the paintings on mt chil. One painting says 3am (the one on the red dot in ur pic) the over says rain (on top of the other small hilll) tried it at 3am with rain and with lightning nothing happend on both locations

Nice find, never noticed that.

 

Those 3 boxes look to represent the UFO/EGG/Jetpack boxes but, the other 2 are in place of the missing symbol on the right side of the mural, the one furthest down AND the other box looks to be where the single line ends on that side of the mural.

Now I do have 100% FYI.

 

A few minutes after that last post I nearly pooped myself. There is an BIG BLATANT RED ARROW ontop of the water tower thingy in the hippy camp pointing towards a radio tower that the moon sets DIRECTLY over around 4AM on Sat morning if you're standing in the hippy camp. It's EXTREMELY BLATANT but only visible from one side. Last time I checked you don't put giant red arrows pointing to something westward unless you want someone to LOOK.

 

Pretty sure nobody has mentioned that either!!! . I couldn't get my helicopter to spawn fast enough to get over it though to see if anything spawns up there besides the regular UFO over the nearby hippy camp. Tried to tune to Blue Ark as fast as possible. Now don't take my word as gospel because there's 3 different radio towers that red arrow can be pointing at (or something else)

Remeber the red arrow with the ufo marking at the bottom? It was faceing towards the hippy camp and the arrow in the hippy camp is pointing towards the red arrow in the liquior sign imo. Go to the observation platform on the hill behind the hippy Camp and check it out. I am not sure about my theorie tough

I get one thing from the mural a top Mt. Chiliad. That is, you enter the mountain through its side like the map shows. You walk down that angled line into a room with the jet pack. You need this jet pack in order to traverse the longer black line which connects to the ufo room. Once you get into the ufo, you pilot it up and out of the black lines leading outside of Mt Chiliad. So, enter on the right, exit on the left.

 

Also, if you look at the thick open concrete doors by the cable car, they look exactly the same as the big door/wall that we cannot interact with yet. I along with others are betting that takes you down to the cracked egg.

 

The mural shows the jet man and ufo connected by a black line. The cracked egg is not connected. Meaning, you'll need to solve two different puzzles in order to receive the rewards of all 3.

Are they there in Online though is what I was trying to discover. I just don't see R* checking if you have 100% for Online.

do you have the tools to do a map over lay with your theory?

Because I'm kinda got a new theory also!i think you have to match the murals of the eye to each ufo spot,for example you lay the eye over the red eye symbol at the hippie camp and point the lighting or spark bolt towards mt chililad or the direction of what the red seal is facing!

 

I also believe that's why there is so many boxs with red x's in them.to give you spots to overlay the mural on!
