HAS ANYONE TRIED DIALING:

JET-PACK

538-7225

Worth a try?

I've tried dialing tons of numbers lol

1999-(number here). They just play the same repeated things. For example 1999-554 gives the same reply as 5541,55411,554111 etc.

I'm pretty sure a phonecall might trigger the elevator in Fort Zancudo, or possibly somewhere else on the map.

Grumbledore, does that tool have a search function? If so, try searching for "1999", "1-999", or see if there's a list of phone numbers?

i found a list of phone numbers in a txt file between alot of the subtitles -.- called every single one nada

there is no tool integrated for searching. all you can do is extract and then look through every file.

//Edit:

Didnt found any 1-999 numbers yet

Wait you have the subtitles? Anything interesting?

Have you guys seen the message in the tunnel at the hobo camp at the north of the map? "Some look left, some look right, the answer is right in front of us"

I recently completed the single player game 100%, I haven't run into any of these odd occurrences yet and want to get involved. Could someone bring me up to speed on the competing theories, things already known/discovered, and what the general consensus is for further searching? Thanks, it's much appreciated.

Seen it and wondered myself, spent 2 hours in that camp searching to no end.. found nada.

Anyone notice when you do the praise the sun pose in Yoga you get a creepy eerie sound playing in the background the entire pose? Happens every time to me on Gordo. EVERY TIME. (All 20x times I've done it)

I'm pretty sure it's a hint.

I saw that some look left mural early pretty early into my game and while i think there great words i don't think they relate to the mystery... mind you right about now with the lack of clues i think just about anything is worth a look in.

Does anyone know if its possible to use the cargobob to pick up the giant ball at the juice shack? I know it's not an egg but its the only movable big circular item I have seen so far. Who knows maybe you can take it to chiliad or like drop it on the zancudo ufo

I wonder if we can read anything in to this picture of the unused murial?

fzlc.jpg

It looks quite easy to make out how the drawing was constructed and which bits were done in which order.

Surely someone would draw the important bits first?

If the mountain was drawn first then we assume that's an important part of the drawing but I think it was drawn after the boxes and lines but that shouldn't detract from its importance.

To me it looks as if it could have been traced from an image on a screen or such like. If true it would mean the outline is very accurate.

Next you can see faint lines and heavy lines. Are these lines that have been over twice in some places or pencil lines that have been inked maybe even lines added to make it look nicer, be more or less helpful in solving the puzzle or indeed just not as important as the boxes ie just a link up.

Which bits of the drawing were added first? Its bed time for me now but when I get up I will try to work out if the boxes were drawn first or the lines. Which lines were drawn first and which added later.

Its probably leading nowhere but it might be interesting to see if the empty boxes are as important as the 3 bottom ones.

If you do go there to search Best of luck! i went thier for about 2hrs last night and found nothing, i hope your search is more productive. I cant wait to see the end of this mystery :)

Look left, look right the answer is in front.

Maybe we need to decide whats left and whats right then look in between them.

North is usually respected as up or front so maybe we look to the west and east as our left and right respectively.

Im not sure if we have any clues as to what we use as our west and east reference points.to decide the centre point but maybe the glyphs will help.

This might be a weird question, but does anyone know if there's a connection between the calendar in real life and the calendar in the game? I know the game works on an internal clock that (at least on a daily cycle, in terms of sunlight) runs much faster than real time, but when I looked at the moon in the game tonight, and then stepped outside to look at the real moon, they were almost the same shape. I started wondering about this around a week ago when I saw a crescent moon in the game at the same time that there was a real crescent moon outside.

But regardless of any direct link between game time and real time, if there are potential connections between lunar phases and UFO appearances, is it possible that those appearances might be timed to match the moon in the real world instead of in the game world?

i've been thinking myself whether messing with the xboxs calander/clock might change things... i remember some games having achievements for playing the game on a certain day or little easter eggs like a character wearing a santa hat when it noticed you were playing on xmas day.

New member here and long time lurker. Just wanted to say hi and also share what I found.

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/snapmatic/photo/Z9o3T6LK30CBdTrkRV1Uhg

It's a picture of the wall and floor between the oil storage tankers at Fort Zancudo. This was taken when I was exploring the bunker for the lights and elevator. It is located west of the base besides the two huge oil storage tankers coming in from the west entrance and is located in the base.

It may be nothing but the modelers not joining the wall and floor properly on the graphics model.

Then I saw this in the forum (thanks to member sakis25):

http://gtaforums.com/topic/625200-tutorial-fly-anywhere-under-the-map-hunting-for-secrets/

If you watch his video:

You will see a rotating object with similar patterns like the UFO above the fort under the bunker. UFO under the fort?

Will be using this trick to check out the Human laboratory on the east coast past the Hippy camp since this was VERY VERY heavily guarded and protected. Why?

Just tying to help in the hunt for the jet pack.

Blade1199S

EDIT: I'm on the xbox and his video is also on the xbox.

Seems to me like the rocket launcher of a vehicle, like the buzzard. Maybe even some vehicle for 2 where the driver can't shoot, just the passenger

LOL

It would be hilarious if that was all there was to it, you dial for it.

I tried it and of course it didn't work, funny nonetheless.

Lol I can actually visualize it. The entire search boils down to a number. You go to the mural, dial it. Mural (or the wall next to it) is actually a door, it then opens up. You see an elevator leading to the heart of the mountain. Spoils and riches to all :)

[Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural: post #1921]

Posted Today, 01:51 AM

i've been thinking myself whether messing with the xboxs calander/clock might change things...

Thanks a lot for your comment, grandad1989.

I noticed that the real moon and the game moon matched up twice this month, so it got me thinking...

Rockstar must have a long-term strategy for revealing new game content, both to entertain current players & subscribers and to attract new customers. Obviously some stuff will need to be downloaded or unlocked by DLC, but, even if the similar lunar phases I saw were totally coincidental, I wonder if there are already easter eggs in the game that need to be triggered by the real time clock on the console itself.

By the way, does anyone know exactly how fast the in-clock game is? What does one day or one hour of game time equal in real life? Is it 4 times faster? 8 times faster? (Apologies if this has already been explained. I’m searching for info about the game’s time on the forum, but I can’t find any answers yet...)

Nice idea, it would be good if something comes from it! Makes me think of Calender-Man (?!) in Arkham City where you had to return on certain days to get them checked off and unlock the achievement - I won't lie, I went offline and adjust the date on the xbox...

With regards to the time, in game time is adjust by a x60 multiplier i.e. 1 min game time = 1 second real time, 1 hour game time = one min real time.

Hope it helps,

TZ

One day in GTAV is 48 minutes in real life. Every two seconds of our time is 1 minute in GTAV.

Hey first post, I've been watching this thread for a while but haven't read every page, I'm wondering if anyone has heard a strange sound when flying around similar to a cartoony alien ship/gun sound. A few days ago I was flying around near the airport and docks when I first heard it, I didn't have the radio on and had a wanted level, it was also too loud to be game music. I didn't think much of it until earlier when I was in my jet filling in blank spaces in the map and as I flew over the top of Mt Chilliad I heard it again so I thought maybe it could be related to the UFO. Both times I had a wanted level and I'm only 75% complete so I'm not sure if maybe it was just a weird sound when I lost my wanted level or what, I've also tried flying back through the same spots but I haven't heard it again.

The eye on the mural is a representation of the All Seeing Eye of the Illuminati, which stands atop a pyramid.

Where in the city do we know there is a pyramid?

I think it's important to zoom out from time to time and look at the big picture.

We like to over complicate.

The flow must be logical and relatively simple. Here's what I currently think:

1. The first thing you see is the mural, it's very easy to spot without any clues. It's obviously some coded message.

2. You explore the near grounds, find the observation deck with the glyph under it and the message to come back after story.

3. After you finish the story, you come back, but nothing happens... need to search for more clues. You look back at the mural and see the 5 squares with X's on the mountain.

4. These X's refer to the clues (glyphs) located on the body of the mountain (no need for crazy map overlays). You start exploring the mountain and find all clues

5. The clues show: EYE (that's the spot), CLOUD (need to rain), MOON+3 bars (night at 3 am) - you figure out the conditions and pop the holo

6. You see a frickin UFO in the holo, now what?? (that's where we are)

My lame suggestion for step 7:

7. Now you look at the 3 boxes on the bottom of the mural (ufo, egg, jetpack) - let's start with first: UFO, also the holo is a UFO, that's the next step

8. Where did I see this UFO? oh in the hippie camp there's a car with the UFO from the drawing on top + some glyphs, let's go there, but let's find a real one like the holo - let's fly up! you find the 1st real UFO

9. So maybe the 3 boxes on the bottom = 3 UFO's you need to find up in the sky.. let's look for them!

10. You start flying above interesting locations, find the UFO above the fort - it has "segregate and rearrange" - anagram for segregate is "easter egg" = matches the 2nd box (cracked egg)

So now we're stuck with 2 real UFO's matching the first 2 boxes (ufo, egg)..

Now the 3rd real UFO will refer to the jetpack in some way... to the pyramid!

Great catch!! Looks promising.

The pyramid might also not be an actual physical pyramid on a building, but somewhere a pyramid is depicted

Like the picture of pyramid+eye on the mantle of Franklin's aunt's appartment

weird sound

I havent noticed but then again everytime I play I have to listen to my kids either crying because it was their time to play or fighting with each other- lol joys of kids. I did however hear a noise the first time I walked near the Mt Chiliad map while wearing the Epsilon suit. Other people have also commented on hearing a noise when doing yoga at Mt Gordo, are any of these sounds the same?

That tiny pyramid has the eye of Penris close by, any correlation with those two buildings and Penris's meaning in the game ?
