God, catching up on everything makes my head hurt. I will post a coherent post later on...

 

What ever came of the "Stever Urkle" fellow and his "what the hell" speech? Did anyone ever try to sneak follow him or anything?

 

Have been playing Trevor's Drug Running mission in hopes of a UFO coming and abducting someone, anyone... but to no avail..

 

I swear the marking at the observatory have a deeper usage to them. Some shadows are put off at different times by the bigger and smaller armature and the gold and silver are predominant at different times as well. I drew a small layout of this area but, as with everything else, comes up empty..

 

Will spout more nonsense when I get over this information overload..

More people are going to end up like Brian if they do not stop looking in other games for clues to a jetpack or flyable ufo ffs. Maybe you should fire up read dead redemption while you are at it. There is a sun symbol on a barn in Grapeseed, surely John Marston's barn holds a clue inside.

Thanks for that. CORRECT you can still call Ursula even if you did take her to the camp (328 555 0103 for anyone who needed it) Funny thing is, after you have called her once she gets added to your phone numbers like everyone else you meet throughout the game and you can call her whenever so it doesn't matter if she was killed at the camp.

 

 

Great find! never thought it would still be possible since i knew i had sacrificed her at the Altruist camp. & now i see what you guys meant by rain & weird drywall convos after having a hookup with Ursala lol

Id say that would be abit of a dev bug there.

Anyways, back on track...

 

At the Satellite Dishes, the guy with the messed up hair is a triggered event.

 

His face changes randomly like every other NPC spawn but, he always has the same F'd up hair style with what looks like a birthmark outline, always. (or again, maybe just a messed up match of hair texture to face/head texture?)

 

 

Here is how i am figuring this is a triggered event...

 

I have a saved game at the dishes at 7:00 A.M.

When i wait until 10:00 A.M. and spin the camera around, the regular FIB/Scientists arrive.

 

To trigger the lone FIB Agent that talks about being "Prettier than you", simply trigger lightning through the weather cheat and then wait until 10:00 A.M.

 

He spawns by the second dish in from the West where the lone scientist and FIB guy spawn before joining the other 2 FIB/Scientists, and just stands there.

 

Face is random and different every time but, the hair style and weird outline is ALWAYS the same...

3 Things for anyone wanting to double check this for me...

 

1. Sometimes it seems as if the lightning doesn't last too long. I don;t know if this has anything to do with it but, if you pull out your camera and look through it while you wait, the lightning storm seems to go on infinitely. This is until you leave the camera perspective and then move, which seems to trigger the storm to stop almost immediately.

 

2. Mostly a disclaimer but, not trying to lead anyone in the wrong directions or anything, so if anyone wants to try this method for spawning this guy and post your results then PLEASE do so. I would like to know if this is a character spawn glitch or a real triggered event.

 

3. Since i have to head out to work and i keep forgetting to do this myself :FACEPALM: If this guy can be triggered by someone other than me, PLEASE try talking to him in Epsilon Robes. the whole birthmark Epsilon thing seems to link?... "If you have a birthmark, you may be a descendant of Kraff"

Maybe Herbert Moon from Red Dead Redemption is an ancestor of Andy Moon in GTA V. Just joking, now back to the topic...

While I am on the thought, the drawing kind of resembles the observatory shooting or producing a line out to somehting bigger. If you look, it has all the markings including the smaller towers on each side. It's odd, I know it has been observed before but, this is not a feature that exists on the real observatory....

Not taking credit for this but, can't remember which GTA site i read it on.

 

R* said that the playable area/land mass in GTA V was broken off from the main land after an event(can't remember if an earthquake?)

 

So the theory goes...

 

Dude entered his bunker, closed the hatch.

Earthquake hits.

S.A. and surrounding area is broken off from the main land, sinking a lot of land into the ocean.

The bunker was part of the sinking land, and is now underwater.

The guy in the bunker is him, and the message hasn't been deciphered correctly.

 

 

Again, not my theory but, i thought it was a plausible reason for a hatch with a person inside to be underwater.

 

Seems possible it is that guy and not Roman, as everyone thinks.

Great find as well. I am definintely going to play with this a bit. Though, again, What exactly are we expected to do with the said NPC, as with all the other clues. isn't that the biggest question? What do we actually DO with all this info??

I'm just stopping by again... I don't have much time to read back more that a page or so (I'm probably a day or so behind)...

Anyhow... I just read a post by "saintofkillers" where he mentions: " Pharoes is an anagram of Sephora"

For some reason that got me thinking of anagrams and first place that came to mind was Penris... one solution is SNIPER.

It stands out very clearly from the observatory and the stars just beg to be shot at as per the suggestion "Shoot for the stars"...

 

We have all probably tried it a dozen times and got squat... maybe there is a better place to shoot from?.. or a time at which to do so?

As soon as I have some time tonight, I'm gonna try different times and locations...

 

I just think that it is odd that Sniper is one of the solutions to Penris... very early on in the hunt I looked into possible meanings for penris, but aside from the obvious pecker connotation, I could find nothing of importance.

 

Oh yeah, to the best of my knowledge I don't think anyone has mentioned this before, but sorry if I missed it and its old news (the anagram part,I know everyone tried shooting at penris already)...

 

Maybe we are (literally) missing something?

This is something i am always thinking about.

 

EVERYTHING we know about is triggered naturally by the game at some point, no interaction necessary.

 

IF we do have to interact w/something, out options are very limited.

 

Shoot.

Call.

Talk.

 

We don't have buttons, switches, levers, etc, etc. in GTA V, so...

 

 

So, everything is most likely going to be triggered by having patience and just simply waiting for the right conditions in the right place to match up and trigger an event.

 

I can "Cheat" to get the FIB guy to show up at the dishes but, that event would happen in game naturally if i waited long enough, which is the same for everything we know about so far.

It's a hologram you cannot see through

They're usually dense enough to cast shadows and look real until you try to touch it

 

Edit: Interesting enough when I Googled "opaque hologram" to give you a more thorough definition, the first result is "Opaque Holograms & False Walls"

Does anybody know why there is a plane that circles in the sky at the airport and fades like the UFOs if you get too far away from it? It's always there above cloud level. It never lands or leaves unless you shoot at it.

Anyways, the alien ships in that movie had cloaking devices, and in one scene it talks about how a bird hit one that was invisible, fell down to the ground dead, and then everyone knew then that the aliens were cloaking their ships.

 

Playing the game right now, and for the first time ever, a dead bird falls out of the sky and hit my car. Really weird, the timing and everything.

I found this plane myself when searching for a UFO above the Airport.

 

I also think it's weird, it just circles forever and is flying pretty high up.

 

 

could just be to "Populate" the skies but, it's such a weird placing IMHO

what was the location? it could have just gotten caught in a heli but i'd check the skies with a buzzard in that area to be sure.

I kinda wish R* had it's own version of Google in GTA 5 so we could have the Google earth feature, maybe an Oogle or Introogle or something, just for a quick reference when looking for specific locations.

I was messing around the cove near Ursula's when I saw something fall into the water near the sand. Walked over to see what it was, and it was a dead bird. Left me scratching my head at the time. Did not see any aircraft in the sky

the only place i have ever seen lightning is when in the region of the satellite dishes.

 

other than that i just get the sky flashing blue/white with no actual lightning bolts.

 

 

every picture of lightning in the game that i have seen is always from around the satellite dishes and/or the immediate surrounding area.

 

can anyone find a pic of lightning striking that was taken from a different area of the game?

 

EDIT: NEVERMIND, just saw a bolt while using franklin by the beach.

 

 

I'm going to call BS on my own lightning ideas. DISREGARD please.
