I said it a few pages back that vet seems to have lost all will to hunt... i can understand why and i can even see the logic in the things he says...

 

He is however not perfect and sometimes sounds as if what he is saying is fact... which is why i said i would be wary of what he says and second guess him from now on...

 

The hot coffee mod in san andreas was a cut feature you are correct... it wasnt just left there by accident though it was left there in the knowledge that one day someone would mod it back into the game and the devs hard work wouldnt be lost forever because of censorship...

 

Point is they do know and think about what they leave in the game...

 

Take gta 5 files... we have a list of missions, some cut (drop off soldier get his number) yet this is the only mention in the files... no left over textures or such... and so far no dlc pre installed files either... we havent found any beach bum files yet and answer me this... why would they leave such a small file like the egg and asteroid in the files for the sake of a smaller dlc? (we are talking kbs in size here) if these are dlc files or cut content why leave them, for what purpose?

 

On another note... this is DECODING the mural not debunking it which is what vet and a few others are swaying toward...

 

i get that you have settled for what you believe logical, but your input is becoming negative and even slowing the exploration process...

 

So what if 5 guys run around the same building... might be the 5th one that sees what the others have missed... we all know if this is going to be solved it will be by some noob while messing around! Or found in the files maybe, depending on what steps rockstar have actually taken to hide whatever IT is.

since you dig arround the game files i am sure you noticed the leftovers from gta iv inside them right? just some garbage they didnt removed.

 

as for the beach bum files. did you ever check the update.rpf on your console? just saying ^^

I was cruising about online in one of the free Buzzard choppers and after a failed attempt at easing gang tensions in Grove Street I headed to the Alturist camp to see who's there. When I was low enough the inhabitants started attacking which I expected. The weird thing was I was getting missle locks on them. When the chopper was being shot at in Grove Street, I only got missile locks on the police. Seemed a bit odd to me.

 

Have the game files revealed anything about the Alturist camp or is this just another anomoly with the game?

Anyone who will attack u and appeaar as a red dot on radar can be locked as target so no anomaly @ all

 

 

It wasn't locking onto the guys shooting at me in Grove Street.

Hi guys i have new informations about jetpack ...

 

 

First i goes to Fort Zacundo on God Mod and search that f****** elevator ....

Elevator goes down and stops ... and it was all .. i was stuck in this elevator , and then i must restart game bex door dont opened ...

 

 

Second thing its that secret gate on mt. chilliad ... when i went there with that ufo car gate opened but behind gate was wall with text

@grumble... yes i did check that folder... the egg and asteroid were not found there though so with your opinion now added it seems that dlc files are in update.rpf... guess that means the egg and asteroid arent dlc (in your opinion?)

Well it's at the egg shaped ring of rocks in Paleto Cove where the land looks like a finger pointing to it. It's on the Social Club and it's the only picture by that user. I don't remember this being in a mission?

i´ve been following this thread from the beginning and read every post on it!

 

Now i´m onto something REALLY BIG: I´m not a rock* official, but i´m working as a house manager for a person who is waaay up the rock* hierarchy. Since nowadays even pilots get fired for refusing wearing flip-flops while flying planes, I have to be on the save side by giving just (a made-up!) initial of his last name: His name is Mr. H. that´s all I can say…

 

So some days ago I happened to meet Mr. H in his house while cleaning up his spaceship galactica lego-set and asked about the jetpack in the best “by the way” manner I could manage. Although he´s usually a friendly and cool person, he got very serious, closed his eyes, leaned back on his luxury benz-couch, thought hard, then leaned forward, looked me right in the eye and said in a calm but grim tone: ”Can you imagine, how hard it is to make such a game? We are doing great efforts to deliver the best gaming experience just for people like you. And what do we get? Nothing but complaints about solving it. Where I come from, we call it ingratitude. Ingratitude that´s it. I think that´s the main problem we have in this world these days. Think of it. Now get on with what´s right in front of you.” I was so shocked an ashamed about the truth of it, I just managed some “yes-sir´s” and went on with my work fighting back tears. But afterwards I think it may be some clue…

 

Then the other day I went by Mr. H´s computer-room and was sure he was power-napping about his 150 pieces starwars-puzzle, like every midday. But than I glimpsed like he was playing a whole new version of GTA V on his xbox1!!! He was friendly again and invited me to play, and left me there alone! But before he left, he said something to his xbox. I swear it could be some code (morse?, wow-signal?), magical words or even a foreign language (we all know what people like Mr. H are capable of). Anyway, I was able to fly a jetpack!!!!! I tried to take some snapmatic, but he must deactivated it with his words. I cannot take photos either, since my mobile has no cam. L But if you type “L.A.” and “jetpack” into google you get pictures that look exactly like this game: hyperrealistic! But it was a beta, because only half of the map had new textures, and when I left what was new, I lost the jetpack, but could luckily parachute down, without crashing. But when I entered the new part of the map again, I had it again – the jetpack!!!! When Mr. H. came back, he said with a knowing smile: “That´s quite something, isn´t it?” “Yes sir” I replied, but was afraid to ask more. L

At least I can confirm:

- the xbox1 version of GTA V is about 50% ready and will be on market about autumn next year;

- there will be a jetpack in it!!! (But I still don´t know how to get it L)

Maybe it´s even a clue that the jetpack is already in current gen? I´ll stay on it and keep you informed. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

BTW, I'm wondering why nobody has mentioned the subliminal messaging that occurs when transitioning sectors in the game. I'd record them but I have no hardware to do this.

every update that came had it's own update.rpf since the beach one was in an update too yeah the files for that are stored in the update.rpf. the egg and asteroid files could be all or nothing. leftovers from an idea that didnt made it to the final version or or or there are dozens of posibillitys. same as the leftover files named test etc. they didnt removed those too and yet they dont have any use. or take the developer cheats for online. they are still in the config files but they cant be used cause they disabled them.
