Will do, I am at work currently but as soon as I get home after 5PM EST then I can test on my new SuperSlim PS3. My save is unfortunately toast, got about half way through going over my 100% to get everything gold and my phat PS3 decided to die. I will report back then and let the people who need the file know to email me with a one of their saves so I can match IDs. And thanks so much for all your hard work, this is truly the closest we can all get to true 100% easily.

A rework station and some thermal paste... Reflowing is really easy

Some cases just using a hairdryer in the vents is enough to get that Fat PS3 up enough to remove game from drive and save files.

 

I used a couple guides and a few videos to learn the whole process.

Hakato .. This is almost a 100% file . Unfortunately it does not have the stunt plane trials . I should have coughed up the extra 20 bucks but the game actually cost me 300 since i did not have a ps3 .

 

It is missing is 2 atm robbery spawns . i can give locations .

You would also have to do the property missions (i did a few already)

I have not visited every white friend dot that i kept track of .

I did not do every possible hang out combo .

I did not buy snaks from a store .

The altruist camp has been taken over

No UFOs have been spawned . The ghost has not been spawned .

Oh and liz from taxi missions . I gave her the ride but did not call for a booty call yet . Also have to redo the daredevil and terminater taxi rides cuz i m not sure if i got the bonus on those .

I think thats it . look at my checklist in the guides section . It is complete other than items i just mentioned and the online stuff .

 

Also in the checklist things i did with all 3 charachters are marked all charachters . i did not do races,triathalons,parachuting events or anything else that is not marked with all charachters .

After double checking the Sand Glyph/Arrow location i would like to admit that i am thoroughly wrong on this.

 

You are right, the Arrow does also point towards the Stone Circle, which is behind the radio tower.

Using CFW PS3s or jtag'd Xbox360s, whatever, Rockstar can look into our games via the SC connection. They can see that whatever it is that needs to be done, had been done through means of hacking and disable it.

 

Yeah, this means that people without internet won't be able to find it, but it keeps things nice and locked up. Their egg is safe from hackers/modders

my hacked console isn't connected to R* social.

You can think they are safe... I highly doubt it.

We adjust a value or two, tweak physics, access R* debug options....

Yes I know, I didnt take it apart because it would void the warranty. The first phat PS3 I got in 2007 I took completly apart and had it running a good year before another YLOD. I bought this one from gamestop not even 30 days ago so I exchanged for a new one. The original PS3s were porly designed casing major heating issues. So I just got all new tech...

Wish I still had my original CFW PS3... but yes please do and forward me a copy if you'd be so kind. Also, are you able to add the Collector's Edition DLC to the save so we can all enjoy the extras? I can also host this on my Google Drive.

Anything can be hacked and modded without anyone finding out anything. I've already resign so many games and was heavly envolved when PS3s could easliy be jailbroken before OFW 3.51. That's also a reason Sony made two more PS3s.

You can use an E3 flasher to downgrade... but it's pricey.

I just realized on that file i never picked up the package at the altruist camp . Im not sure if it ever respawns .

 

EDIT.. It seems it is not respawning . Luckily i have another file right before i took over the camp that is only a couple hours of progress behind the file i emailed kj .

 

I will work on it and email him the updated version .

Last night I stood across from that Ron station looking at the sign for like 20 minutes... like some sign pervert. Then I wandered the desert shooting cougars... I almost started walking the desert/mountain trails again... I probably never mentioned it here, but that was one of my desperate ideas... I walked all the known trails... I figured they make so much about it with the tourist/park signs and all... nothing... (it was at that point I developed my hatred of cougars)

 

last night it took me 5 minutes to read past this part because i was laughing so hard i couldnt breathe and eventually had to walk away from the comp to compose myself...and i dont think he was tryin to be funny i just found it hilarious

 

i know your pain tho as i have tried numerous of my own theories and came up with nothing and often find myself scouring the altruists camp for hour after hour because of that damn sound stinger only to find nothing

 

ive tried camping out on top of their water tower for 3 days in game because i noticed that every few mins real time that the shadow of the tower would move and maybe if it moved to a certain position something would happen

 

or following behind a Cluckin Bell big rig in hopes that the aliens want chicken eggs and may beam it up...to driving a CB big rig to the colorful mounds place (i thought it was the hippy camp but i was mistaken) in hopes that it would be beamed up there (havent tried at 3am on a stormy night tho but i dont think it will do anything)...to camping out at Bell farms for days

 

i mean think about how many ppl are on to this mural mystery, to the glitchers and modders, to the regular gamers, the dudes in the file rape thread...everybody playin this game and no one found anything...i mean cmon they found that vespucci beach sculpture and how to glitch to North Yankton within 24 hours of the new update so needless to say there are alot of people playin the sh*t out of this game and nothing

I wish my phone would let me upload pics, went to north Yankton last night with me mate, online...found the alien under the bridge...a railway bridge a bit funny as if he had fallen off or is trying to be 'beamed up'. Carried on looking found a massive Ludendorff sign held by a massive wooden looking beaver. On on leg inscribed was "unit 1 one" and on the other "alay" or "Olay" or "olax" or something wasn't very clear...do we need to find unit one? I think all ufos are meant to be triggered. Just like north Yankton, when you glitch it it appears within San Andreas, the game restraints, the ufos are high up, in San Andreas, just outside the standard map. They both seem to work the same. I think they are triggered events

this is not mural related, try to stick to things about the mural...

Its about how you played the game, its not karma. You can not unlock any super special hidden content if you're cheating. Hacking will get you nowhere.

 

Why do you think we haven't found anything? Because most of the players are cheating/save editing/downloading saves/etc. If there's something to find, its obviously been carefully protected so that we can't find it in the files. It can't be obtained through cheating.

 

This makes me think that the files required for the reward are either locked away deep inside the disc, in a place nobody would ever look. Or, its on the Social Club Servers, which would mean that people without internet wouldn't be able to find it.

 

That being said, I don't think we're smart enough collectively to figure this out.

interesting when i first started playing it and all i did was wonder around i noticed on one of them you can walk inside and there was this key card reader there if you shoot it sparks will come out ill try to see if i can find that spot again later on tonight and let you know where it is perhaps theres this "gta vice city" type of easter egg where you have to jump thru a wall to see the easter egg.
