Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

Why isn't anybody talking about how the UFO atop Mt. Chiliad shorts out the radio stations?

 

Reloaded 5 times and got the same result everytime.

 

My Radio stations DO NOT work anymore after seeing the UFO, NONE OF THEM.

 

Keep putting me on the "Blue Ark" station.

 

I can switch to other stations if i switch fast or hold the switch button and manually select one BUT, they still dont work and when i hit left to switch to the next station in order it ALL BY ITSELF turns back to "Blue Ark".

 

Blue Ark is cycling through 4 songs and nothing, so FIVE things. Yellowman "Nobody move, nobody get hurt", Gregory Isaac "Night Nurse", Junior Delgado "Sons of slaves", Joe Gibbs and the Professionals "Chapter three" AND also lists no track at some times.

 

To be clear again, Blue Ark doesn't broadcast a signal either, not even static but, switches between 4 songs and nothing. Every other station rotates through it's playlist normally, well as normal as it gets without broadcasting any sound.

 

So i have been driving around trying to find a signal or broadcast and so far no luck but, WTF is this seriously being overlooked by EVERYONE?

 

The Mural on Chiliad looks to me like a signal being sent out and/or broadcast from the eye/ufo, either sending or recieving but, seems that it sent a signal and cut everything.

 

Let's get on this Mutha-ucka's!

 

EDIT: was going around to all the radio towers looking for Blue Ark station and no luck yet, so i'm hoping it might be in the city somewhere, has anyone seen a radio station in the city?(crosses fingers)

 

thats just a radio glitch, calm down. had it happen to me a few times without even being near the UFO and or mountain.

I don't know about that, no matter how far back in game saves i go it still happens when i see the UFO, different saves and same result whenever i see it for the first time on whatever save i'm using.

 

If i couldn't replicate it 100% of the time i would think it was a glitch, but seems too obvious that something needs to be done here. Radio cuts out and switches by itself atop the mountain, sounds like a glitch, really?

 

On the other hand i hope it is a glitch, i want my radio back but it seem the only way to keep my music is to not see the UFO on chiliad.

 

Why does the mural look like it's sending/recieving radio waves is another question of mine now, it seems pretty plausible that it's intentional.

Update to this: I seemed to have fixed my NO MUSIC "glitch" by attacking the F.I.B. UFO above the Hippy camp, no joke i'm not making this up.

 

After being killed many, many, many times, I still played through with no music everytime i was reloaded at a hospital(usually the one by Trev's if that matters). Then i took the Jet to the F.I.B. UFO and decided to attack it.

 

I shot 2 missles, one hit. Upon being hit the UFO went invisible and on my return missle run i just so happened to ram into it, exploding on impact of course.

 

When i was respawned at the hospital i hopped in a car and the music was fixed, lol. I hope this is the last i see of this glitch.

At 94% and wanted to add something here:

 

Almost done the Kifflom missions, and I went to the website and watched one of the slideshows, in it it mentions:

 

"...are you ready to recieve an egg from your ancestors? And form yourself out of it?"

 

Side note: during the mission for the marijuana activist, where michael has to kill a bunch of aliens, they try to abduct him, could this be connected..? Let them abduct him?

Not related, there is a separate cut scene that shows Michael being abducted, sprawled out on a table with aliens surrounding him and then shot out towards earth. The corresponding fall is a little reminiscent of the scene in Big Labowski, but instead Michael is only falling towards earth as opposed to flying.

It's not related, goes to a separate cut scene where Michael is rejected and sent back to earth. Try replaying the mission and just let them overtake you.

Ok, so, i was above the hippy camp 20mins ago (15.45pm game time) and suddenly my whole screen goes fuzzy like an old tv. Im not at 100% and couldnt see any UFO ... i was in a buzzard with top-down view

 

Couldnt replicate, so im now above fort zancudo as i type ths.

You have to "see" the hologram UFO for the doors to open, when you move away the doors shut!

 

Manage 2 characters, one at the top on the platform and one at the top by the mural wall/door.

 

Let's get these Jetpacks!

 

 

 

 

P.S. If this doesn't work i give all due credit for my failure of an idea to the mass amount of pot i just smoked, haha

 

EDIT: I got Michael and Trev to the top of the mountain, just another 10 mins of switching between them, i can't wait to be wrong!

 

EDIT: WTF, just noticed the "Doors" by the mural are doors. look at the exits from that room, even form the cable car has those door, they fold open like curtains. how did nobody see this?

I thought it was already shown in this thread that Mt Chiliad is hollow? Read a few pages back. Nothing inside the mountain.

Hey guys been following this thread for a few days. But I discovered some interesting things the other night while exploring and doing some research. I wish I could upload pictures to show what I've found, but here goes nothing. Has anybody else noticed the the Altruist "cave symbol" with the golden sun, and the half sun, half water mural next to it? Well in speculation to that, I noticed that the San Andreas Utilities company (can't remember their name, but check their in-game website) They use that exact same symbol as their logo (the half sun/water). Also, when exploring the reservoir, and going all the way to the very end where those huge water pump hoses are that go up the hill, and then down into the facility on the other side. If you follow up those hoses, and stay underneath and get to the point where you start hitting the concrete block sections, I noticed that almost each section hold a pixelated image referring to aliens. On one in particular section, I believe it has a pixelated image of a little alien ( It may just be me) But I thought that was interesting none the less. Also in connection to the other "utilities" dealt with by this company, at the windmill farm, there is one windmill in particular that has a yellow ladder leading to the top with a hatch. I am not at %100 quite yet, so I don't think I can do anything. Thought all this sh*t was pretty interesting. And haven't seen anything making this connection on any other threads. Ive been following this post for a while now and i dont know if this is of any use but i was speeding down the side of Mt. Chilliad in my 4X4 towards the most northern road that leads out of Paleto and for a brief period of about 4 seconds there was a static-ish sort of sound similar to some of the ones desribed in this post a few pages back, was like a crackling/static sort of noise. Im assuming it was only for 4 ish seconds due to the fact i was going flat out down the side of a mountain haha.

It was around 10am, sunny weather and the radio was off. Not far from where i heard that noise there seemed to be some sort of design in some of the rocks similar to the ones shown a few pages back also.

Not sure if this is of any use? but i found it weird and random.

Since you find one of the Epsilon Tracts on top of the Mt. Chiliad has anyone ever tried going up there (with the UFO) in their Kifflom outfit?? I haven't gotten 100% yet so haven't gotten around to trying it...

Mt chiliad is hollow because there are no interiors during normal free roaming, interiors loads when you are supposed to use them

maybe the cracked egg means GTA Online character? since its new? i dont believe gta online and single player have anything to do with eachother, BUT gta online does take place before GTA single player so maybe after completing GTA online we will get a clue to get the jetpack?
