why mount chill ?!?!?! that pic. shows the military base not mount chill ^^ u was looking at the wrong location. but as long as tere is no location of this map from the base its prob. fake

in the far corner of the base os a water tower and in front are houses . it should be in one of them. but dont bother. i went arround every house there and now im standing on the water tower and wait till its night. if nothing happens at night there is nothing. i dont beleve that its that simple. a map that we didnt find. his whole mural thing with the eye would be so useless.

i dont think that rockstar would take the chance of that map beeing found before the one with the eye.

Just a few discoveries I want to share. I was in exploring Paleto bay on the weekend. Time was morning, after sunrise but before you could see the sun from behind chiliad.

 

I was looking at shadows. A lot of shadows in the game move according to the suns position (like in real life). Such as the pole shadows in the hippy camp that seem to fill the boxes at one time or another.

 

Anyway, all of a sudden, the shadows of a tree and other surrounding shadows I was looking at sped up. Like it was being fast forwarded. I have no idea why, but I chased the shadows and ran towards them. Then they stopped for about 10-25 seconds. Not sure how long because I was still in a state of WTF! Then they sped up again and I started running toward them again. Then it stopped again and just resumed normal shadow movement for the rest of the day. When the second fast forward stopped, it was around 10am. I finished up at the railway yard behind the clucken bell factory.

 

I started just outside the town, near the clock that is shaped like an egg, my character facing chiliad and the shadows were moving to my left (hence why I ended up in the rail yard from following them).

 

In hindisght, I should have been looking at the sun when I noticed this, but my instinct was to follow the shadows. So far, I've been able to replicate this once, but not everyday, and not for the last 3 days.

 

 

 

Another thing unrelated, not too far from where I started, if you go right, instead of left towards paleto bay, there is a start of a mountain trail to the altruist camp. There is a wooden map sign with a castle carved onto it, which I believe represents the altruist camp. However in the bottom right corner, the word ACTUALITY is scratched onto the wood, and it's covered a bit by a piece of paper.

 

Actuality is one of the passwords for the Children of the Mountain cult. There has to be something Children of the Mountain related up there. The word is carved the same way as the castle the seems to represent the Altruist camp.

 

 

One last thing. The Altruists worship the sun. The morse code from their website says they hate the sun. Is there two cults there? Maybe something living under the Altruist camp? Has anyone else heard the predator noises outside the front of the Altruist camp?

 

 

That's what have to add for now.

Could be fake but, if someone showed me a picture of the Web that appears at 1 A.M. .... in fact, i did think the Web picture that was first posted was fake, it looked so shopped i though it was comical... then it turns out to be real.

 

We are obviously missing something, so...

 

 

I'm not writing anything off just yet, i'll stick around Chiliad for a few in-game nights and see if the moon makes anything appear at a certain time.

I just noticed this myself.

 

Also, that aisle/row of houses is a lot fancier than the others, with it's flags and obstacles, etc.

While a little bit similar, I think there are some big differences between the spider web and this which I'm not gonna get into.

 

I just wanted to point out that maybe the fancier row of houses is the officer barracks.

So, the 3 man patrol respawns infinitely if you spin around and look back again.

 

If you are zoomed in you can hear their foot steps but, so far no speech.

 

When they get to the end of the walkway the one in front walks forward and turns around to face the other 2.

 

This make a triangle/Pyramid....

 

 

I'm starting to go completely insane, right?

Take the main coast road south from paleto bay. It's on the left, not too far down the road. You come off the road onto the left and there is a gravel/dirt area. It's on the left of that area. It's sort of like a tourist guide sign. I think it's where you turn off the main road to go to the altruist camp. Let me know if you have trouble finding it. If you can't find I'll try and do a snapmatic later or camera phone thing.

I'm sure they dont have a match and a bullet in the ball of the flagpole or in the base of it.....
