Ok still working on the files, in over my head if im honest... a lot of interesting stuff though... a lot of things we cant see yet as well, so hope for the mystery yet...

 

onto my next point... @takeover any chance of narrowing down what texture it is under gordo? I say this as the file name may hold a clue... you seem to skip past my questions like your thoughts on which glyph is which in the game files...

 

my thoughts regarding the gordo texture... since we can likely assume these textures are basically an object to trigger something and as far as i am aware nothing has been triggered over there other that the ghost... im betting if you go to the spawn point for the ghost under the map you will see a texture related to the ghost spawn...

 

now if this texture is seperate from the ghost trigger texture then we must have found the place for something else to be triggered... im hoping from that position if we look around hard enough something will have changed...

 

could be any number of things like showing the location of a passable wall into a tunnel system or a little hint over the sea where to dive or fly above, this is all just speculation but with a ufo in the files unaccounted for and a texture under gordo AND the map edge near gordo doesnt cut engines has gotta be the best leads we have had in a while lol

Hey man. This was posted by ZancudoTakeover a couple pages back, in the post about flying under the map. Apologies if you wanted an analogy rather than a close up but I'm guessing as you've tagged ZT and have mentioned reading every post in the past you wouldn't have missed it.

 

Sorry that I don't have a lot to bring to the party, not being 100% and all. However I'm very interested in this topic and have been following it for a while. Keep up the good work guys!

on reddit i have read that some1 walked from the lighhouse up to mount gordo using the left path in a full moon cycle. he claimed that along the way it started to thunder . on top he then used the yoga map and every time by the push up position he heard wierd noises what could have been something like the wow signal. he said that he did it 2 or 3 more times and it worked every time. i have tried it a couple of times but it never worked here by me.
im telling you this because you are looking for something to be triggered and i belife if thats true what the guy on reddid said that that musst be it .

It's possible that the Gordo artifact relates to the stereo and candles by the Yoga mat. I'd suggest checking Michaels house but I can't remember if he uses a similar set up there.

whats a chime?? you meen that bell sound ?? i was already wondering my selfe if i have to do the moves perfecly . anyone knows if there is a perfect timing in when to release the air??

As I was proceeding through the different poses, I was kinda relaxing to the music, but then I heard some minor static. This immediately piqued my interest, so I jacked my volume up high on my Turtle Beaches then proceeded to be WOW!ed. Yep. I think I heard the WOW! signal. It was so startling I kinda fumbled while trying to press pause and broke the pose.

Going to see the ufo ,before the sun comes up I will have M in place to switch to ,to do yoga at sun rise then take trevor to the cannibles ,haven't tried that worth a shot

I don't understand these textures under the map at all. I mean, when I thought that the UFO texture was spinning under where the UFO was because it needed to be for whatever technical reason, that made perfect sense to me. But now, I have no grasp of the logic behind how people are talking about them. I only have the most basic understanding of programming and such so if someone who knows a fair bit could try to explain at all it would be appreciated.

ok i cracked the sound up on my 5,1 system so it sounded like a have a real thunter in my house ( its 01:45 am here ) i heard something that didnt really sound like the whole wow signal but a little part of it and it only lasted doring the last pose . could be cuz i turned up the sound till max or there really is something.

if u wanna hear what i heard then here.

Maybe if you do other parts(don't know what yet) and get more bits of the signal and eventually you hear it in full could be the trigger

started the mission now too and i alreasy hear the same sound in the cutscene that i just heard on the mountain so it wasnt anything important

I been a part of this search and have helped out by supporting and exploring ideas that other people have come across. I just love a community effort.
People working together toward a single (nonthreatening)goal is my idea of human perfection.

That being said, I have taken the past few days to reflect upon this thread.
It may be counter productive to the search all together.
Before anyone gets upset or anything, I am not targeting or vaguely referencing anyone here.

So many brilliant ideas come through here.
As soon as they are brought up they are left behind just as fast.
Only to be picked back up as another distraction later.
I know not everything has been found, and a fresh perspective can help find new things.

I know there are a few of you I would love to read a blog of your explorations(If you have one). Others I understand are new or haven't had any luck with the limited search function here.

I went back and reread some of the old Mystery of V thread (that initially drew me in to signing up from lurking for years), and found many things that were completely abandoned.


In other words who and how do we determine where to steer the conversation and what is or is not relevant?

 

Should we group up?

I have a hard time trying to navigating from topic to topic within the topic....... The Chiliad Inception....

I don't mind searching leads aslong as they sound plauseable ,if there's an idea I like I usally give it a go ,that's 1 of the main points I come on here is to weed out the good and fresh ideas ,putting plans/ideas into action is somthing that's seems to go amiss on here !what we need is a plan of action

same i said yesterday but no one answered.

we are running around like little chickens without heads.

every time some1 comes in with a new idea evrybody stops theyre search and go after that lead . thats how we miss out alot of stuff.

we shpuld make groups like one for mount chill. one for gordo, one team search the ocean and so on. and the groups keep theyere project going .

if some1 new comes in and has a new hint than the group that we have set to that location should check it out . that way we will a bit organized and cant miss a single rock

if one group has a good clue about a diffrent location then the 2 groups can sit down and see what they have found and so on.

I have kinda put my current (HUGE) project on hold until after Friday.

But in the meantime I can work on helping straighten all this out.
