Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

Did anyone ever figure out what the 1807 with the red arrow was pointing to? Some said it was just graffiti but it seems like all graffiti is reused all over the world but this one is not. I've kept my eye out for it since discovering it and as far as I know it's only in one location and a very obvious one at that.

1807 could stand for Rockstar Games. 18th letter of the alphabet is R, 7th is G.

 

People in san diego get 1904 for SD

There's numbers on the screen where you type in a number and if you look under them there's letters, say if you want the letter b; it's under number 1 on the dial pad so you'd type in 1 two times making it stand for b if you get what I'm sayin, if you wanted to type in anything you look under the number and there's 3 letters which ever order the letter comes in you press that number that many times, like c is the third letter on 1 so you'd type in the number 1 three times

Thats wrong. Thats how you had to text before touchscreen phones, but when you are dialing a number you just press the number once. Like 1 800 BLOWMEE would be 1 800 2569633, not 1 800 225556669633333.

So you say people pay attention to the small houses at the top of the Altruist camp (that has a zigzag road) and at the small house at Mt. Gordo?

Cause I never read anything about them (well except Mt. gordo) but still they didn't say they TRIED things outside them.

 

If I am "wrong" again I would like to ask you for your suggestions my friend.

The artifact under gordo doesn't spin. That tree sounds interesting.

get under the map (youtube has a tutorial) and fly directly under mt chiliad and start flying towards mt gordo and it halfway between them it kinda lowish in the undermap

A way easier method is to jack a ambulance - drive to the eclipse towers (400k property from online) back it up to the garage, jump ontop of car then up into garage. Once your there you walk ontop of the wall for the garage area and can spawn a buzzard and fly down.

 

 

Ambulance works perfect, box trucks are a bit too big.

Even if the coordinates are wrong, that would still mean there's another UFO right?

Yeah, whoever originally decoded the ambient_ufos.xsc (only a few people have figured out the opcode to acutally decode this, so its unconfirmed) gave us the coords for Alien Camp, the fort, and movie studio on ground level. The other two were dead on, even the Z axis in air, so no reason to believe that this one was wrong. But it may be.

 

Ive done some exploring and the unmarked hanger has collision on it, so its likely there is a floor (post linked here http://gtaforums.com/topic/603946-decoding-the-mount-chiliad-mural/page-526?do=findComment&comment=1064168116)

 

Honestly the movie studio makes a ton of sense. I Dont know why, but even when I look at the map I see an alien stepping on a human there.

Your method is a lot easier, someone linked it earlier. But because I recorded yesterday I didn't know so I thought screw I will just upload what I have :/ Find anything? I couldn't find anything of use, other than the stuff which appears only after 100%.

In grapeseed just on the edge of mountain north of the polytunnel farmthere is a dead tree identical to the hippy camp. The polytunnels are also on the hippy camp model represented as blue stripes.

Hi all.

 

I've seen s.o. asking if any member who has the chance to use the no-water mod could give a look to the East end of the map (maybe a fly with a chopper?) and see if anything stands out on the sea pavement, or at least if there is an actual end of the map in that direction.

 

I'm bumping up this request and adding that also the North-Western corner (or zone) might be intersting, according to this map which has being going around for quite some time (but whose origin I know nothing about: so if it is just well known bullshoot PLEASE tell).

Any of you flying underground glitch folk tried underneath the foreign and domestic building opposite the strip club?

 

You can toss stuff into the building through the hole in the wall high up near the roof, and they fall down behind the door, so it has an interior, just cannot work out how to drop in via that little entrance.

Didn't everyone talk about tides a while ago? We'll if we're done with that let me know but I just thought if there's tides, doesn't that mean that the crush depth would change? Obviously you wouldn't be able to go farther than 500ft below the surface, but if the surface is lower, technically the crush depth would be lower. Right?

 

Even with tides, I doubt it would make any significant difference. So instead of a 500ft crush depth, it would be 503ft for example. At least that's what I think, but maybe it would since they went ahead and put tides in the game in the first place. This would help for the hatch at least, but that's already solved. Meh.

 

Look at youtool and the convience store - textures load fine if you are close enough. Same with michaels house. There is also collision on places you can enter (as they have a floor) buildings you cant enter (IE observatory) you can fly right up inside.

 

The buildings that load textures could also be due them being a cut mission or for something online in the future. Best case scenario would be that they're for an easter egg.

 

Go on chiliad 3 am with Omega's car during a storm. Turn on the radio, select radio soulwax and wait for the sang called "Let's Beam him up"

 

By the time that song comes on, it could be way past 3am.

 

We should try dialing 6EQUJ5 (Just like the SAND glyph shows us) at...

 

Locations that are mountains and have a small house at the top (Just like the glyph shows)

1)Altruist Camp (there is also a radio tower)

2)Mt.Chiliad (that also has an antenna)

3)Mt. Gordo (where the ghost appears and also has a TALL radio tower)

 

OR

 

1)Ford Zancudo (duh) people should try dialing the WOW signal code in front of the elevator door at night! (There might be a UFO in fort zancudo also because its to the east of Mt.Chiliad (remember the order of the items in the Mural)

2)The small house at the top of Mt.Chiliad (Don't forget that this is where the mural is and there a shut door right NEXT to it.)

3)And finally the Alien camp (this is where we found the WOW code)

 

That has already been tried by numerous people including myself with no luck.

 

read so many things, my memory may play tricks on me. don't know if those drawings on the ground have been discussed/solved/or any meaning at all.

I like the files idea since it seems to be pretty accurate so far. So hopefully, there is a ufo at the movie studio and we're able to trigger it.

Another thing, related to mistery because of the connection to "how" you play the game (pictorial mural with the two arms joined at the hands in a sign that for Italians refers to female genitalia), I'd like to know if s.o. understands how Michael's shrink judges your actions:

 

(1) Does he value only Michael's or all three characters' behaviour?

 

(2) Is it true, as it seems to me, that only when the character/s have sex with hookers or strippers it is accounted as negative, while Ursula or the other girl (hispanic one, waiting at the campus) do not count at all?

i.e. if Michael, and maybe the other two, have booty calls with Ursula or the other girl, but not with hookers or strippers, he says to the shrink that he hadn't even a "single episode", when asked about sex.

 

(3) What non-sex-related acts are considered bad behaviour, so that Michaels reports of "acting out" again, when he speaks to the shrink?

I mean specifically, if s.o. figured it out: e.g. killing pedestrians vs. killing a blue/red dot vs. killing those particular "?" characters at the end of their mini-story vs. chosing the A or B plan in an heist vs. all of the above vs. whatever...

Regarding the artifacts, I was the one who brought it up recently. I never said that the Gordo artifact spins. The fact that it doesn't is important in deducing what texture it projects.

The psychological report covers your playthrough in it's entirety and is based on the actions you make with all three characters, not just Michael.

 

It's a report on you, the player. That's why the quote on the mural on Textile Alley is so resonant.

Just for the pure hell of it - I found it hillarious to go and pick up a hooker (as Michael) after he got back together with his wife. You see, hopefully in the 15th generation consoles, the AI will be so good that the in game character begins to question themselves on morality.

 

(At least we get the Dr.'s report at end of game) - Gees, I'm so imorale!

Do you mean that the shrink says so in the game's cutscenes, or do you refer to the evaluation which is written somewhere in the Rockstar website?

 

(Cannot be more specific about the internet part, because I'm not using the internet connection with the game, since the console is not mine, as half of the game itself, of which I'm just a co-owner. I don't have the documentation for that: infact I haven't even a clue of how the router is supposed to be configurated when using the xbox! lol ... I'm NOT asking for help on connecting the xbox, but thanks anyway to those who thought about giving advice in this respsects ...)

How many different reports are there? If there are only a few, then my guess is it doesn't mean much on how you play the game unless there is one secret report that you get if you do everything correct.

 

Given how many scenarios there are and the fact that we wouldn't even know what is correct or not, it would be almost impossible to do.

How many different reports are there? If there are only a few, then my guess is it doesn't mean much on how you play the game unless there is one secret report that you get if you do everything correct.

 

Given how many scenarios there are and the fact that we wouldn't even know what is correct or not, it would be almost impossible to do.

I think we could figure it out by understanding what the shrink says during the game, since his interactions happen after a relatively short section of the main story:

you don't need to play again the whole game, but only to keep a saved game just after speaking with the doctor in order to play the connecting section of the story without doing certain things, or, at the opposite, doing those same things.

Then you can see what's the difference in the next dialogue between Michael and the shrink.

 

I noticed this because I tried bedding strippers and hookers early in the game, but later I stopped repeating this side of the story: after I had done the booty call with all available strippers for all three characters and I had "evaluated" the different hookers in differnt parts of the map, I didn't see any contribution to the game in repeating all of that. But I still "use" Ursula to generate storms with all three characters, and Michael reported no sex episods to the doctor nontheless.

########### If you guys go on the game map and scroll to mt.chiliad you will see a zig zaged road,maybe THATS the zig zag road everyones talking about because it DOES look like the crack in the egg on the mural but anyways that rocket next to paleto bay akes some kinda cracking/ticking noise and i think it's a morse code what do you guys think because it's kinda weird how a large ass rocket with great texture would just sit standing up makeing them weird noises so yea maybe it's a morse code idk just putting it out there.

thats no morse code its its that tickling nuklear sound . dont know what the messering device is called that makes that noise. anyway it has ben mentioned before
