Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

I don't think the barn will lead anywhere. I stumble on it like two weeks ago, but its position isn't relevant to anything; also the sun drawn on it is more like a logo i think. I mean, if it was actually an altruist reference, it would be pretty odd the sun isn't exactly the same, since all the glyph stuff going on it wouldn't make sense.

The los Santos water/power station company can be entered! Can't remember if it was in a mission but thought id try the door out of chance and it opened! Don't think its of any help but can get electrocuted on the power things if you go near them! Can someone confirm the place was used in a mission cuz I can't recall it!

Stupid idea but those fixated with the space docker could always try and charge it up in there lol

I Have been thinking quite often about the Mount Chilliad Mystery... I have Many Ideas....

~ Each glyph on mount chiliad represents another glyph located somewhere else on the map, these glyphs lead to another easter egg,

~ The Cracked egg could have something to do with the files in common.rpf titled Wilma and Fred as the egg is way too big for a bird and only dinosaur eggs are that large and in the flintstones movie their dinosaur dino hatches from an egg won at the carnival and the movie uses actors rather than cartoons which would be easier for R* to make a model of... (If you have heard of the flintstones you will understand why i'm getting this from the fred and Wilma files)

~ The Glyph that is apparently a mountain (with the eye above it) surely is a reference to when mike gets beamed up in the ship near those monkeys which if I remember correctly has a glyph where all the monkeys are.

~ I think that the ufo in the diagram is another flintstones reference because it kinda looks like the ufo that the alien on the flintstones only fred and barney can see's spaceship.

'The path is lit'? That'd lead me to think that the Zancudo runway, leading to the mysterious hangar, is our path, surely? Now maybe this just leads us to UFO 2, and form there we're supposed to use 'Segregate and Rearrange' to move forwards. Therefore, either we devote time to this or we ignore it and move on. The only other lead we really haave, discounting the barn for the time being, is Mount Gordo. The Glyph fits too well to ignore it, so we need to exhaust it before dismissing it, and provide the same level of depth to our enquiry as we did Zancudo. Lets's use logic here. We're given a zigzag, a box and a thin tapered shape. Mount Gordo is more of a ridge; THIN AND TAPERED. Then, we obviously have the zigzag path, and we have the radio shack, which for some reason has a gate that opens. Why? There are a lot of locations in-game which can't be accessed like that because of their tiny, useless positioning in the game. Why is this one different. Again, why the yoga, and also why do so many overlays of the mural, which could be or could not be correct, seem to lead back there? Overall all I'm really trying to say is that we need to be methodical. So that means DO NOT investigate two things at once. Noone gets on with it. All focus on one thing at a time. I'm going to spend about seven hours getting myself to 100% this week, but in the meantime I'm going to ask a favour. This is a checklist of all the things I personally believe could help us RIGHT NOW, if only to redirect us to where we should be, should we be wrong.

1) Try going to gordo during the Chiliad conditions.

This could show something up, especially during yoga.

2) As stupid as it sounds, so we can tick it off, drive the docker at the hanger at fort Z, from one end of the runway to the other.

3) Check mt. Gordo for rocks that match the Chiliad mural. Just because it's found on Chiliad, doesn't make it ABOUT Chiliad.

4) Try, as the sand glyph might indicate, searching the hippy camp for clues relating to Gordo. The dead tree matches the one at Gordo perfectly, and the WOW signal pictured is probably teling us that the mound shown is gordo. The UFO car might mean spacedocker. Who knows? TRY IT. Then we WILL KNOW.

Rather than chatting, DO. Then, when it's done, we can all stop harping on about seemingly-credible bullsh*t and get to work.

Kind of looks like the Lighthouse, eh?(of course, this is just an interpertation of what it might have looked like but, interesting none the less.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Column_of_Arcadius

Someone mentioned that the Arcadius building has 3 arrow statues next to each other which could represent player arrows. Maybe all 3 characters at the lighthouse? After that, I don't know.

I've been there, but I don't think it's anything as there are several buildings in the game that you can enter which don't have any use as far as I can tell. This may be one of them, but maybe you can find something.

Until heists go online, assume that's what these places are for. It's only logical.

Just a quick follow up to my earlier question about how far Michael can fly after being abducted, how about flying to chiliad @ 3am and see what happens?

As far as I know, when that mission stars the time get re-set. I'm not sure though. Has anyone tried the 'Superman' cheat when the UFO is present? I think that's MacHuffy means to say.

Just a thought about Trevor and why people refer to him as an "alien" could this be because he's Canadian and in the usa ?

Has the sea along side Gordo been searched for hatches or tunnels entrances?

Can't make it to chiliad..

I got a little bit into Zancudo...

No matter what the mission is time set..

You cannot manipulate it.

I can tell you are new...

Much of the shore has been explored in depth...

But there's always a chance you could find something

Plz, ppl don't be afraid to check things yourselves.

Yeah, the time is being re-set for each mission. But what about the 'Superman' cheat? Worth a try?

Hakatox, i tried sometime the superman cheat near chilliad and sandy shore's UFO, it make dissapear the chilliad one and I couldn't see the Sandy shore one, it's kind of tricky to control so I was maybe just missing it.

Anyway, the one above Chilliad react as if this cheat is turning you into a vehicle until you hit the ground , and suddently the ufo pops out.

You have a very valid point.

They were hyping up the ocean exploration really big, weren't they?

There is a broken in half submarine there, with missiles on the top.. But i haven't searched the sea in general much at all.

I think the GTA SA jet pack cheat turning out to be the GTA 5 superman cheat was the most deflating moment ive had in this search, but in that I can see one bright light and that is the cheat puts the character into a weird flight mode, I'm holding onto a glimmer of hope that an in game trigger (receiving the jet pack) will then spawn a jet pack on the players back when ever that code is entered :/

Just my thoughts

That cheat code can't be replicated by simply falling from a great height

The path is lit could also be a refference to the path the leads to the top of mt. Gordo. There just so happens to be a lighthouse at the start of that path. You can also find a marking at the altruist camp that says "raise the sun". There are many markings that say praise the sun, but there is one that says raise the sun.

I read on another message board that someone believed the praise the sun glyphs at the altruist camp was a referrence to yoga (because apparently praise the sun is the name of one of the yoga moves).

I then read on another message board that someone believed the hippy camp also resembled the Mt. Gordo mountain. So I tried walking that path that starts at the lighthouse. I started at midnight because I figured maybe thats what the UFO glyph with the moon at hippy camp represented. When I got to the top of the mountain the sun just started rising (hence the raise the sun part). So I started doing yoga, and absolutey nothing happened. So then I thought maybe the effect of the sun rising might reveal some hidden shadows over at chiliad; also turned up no results. So it is probably a dead end, but if anyone else wants to try anything with Mt. Gordo go for it.

The seggregate and Rearrange; I read a long time ago scrambles to "easter egg near big ear". Some people believe that is the Satellite name that is pointing toward Zancudo base. Apparently you can see FIB agents and a scientest there at some time. I am assuming that this has been investigated a million times so I have not even looked into it. Seggregate and rearrange could also be a reference to the map; if you put a mirror to the map you can see an alien face. Maybe there is another easter egg at the ear of the map.

I think we need to get an Allen egg from somewhere and have it beamed up to the fort z ufo in the green light on the bunker. This will open up the large hanger and give us a drivable ufo and a jet pack ;-)
