Whoever is posting on this thread for the first time or so...save your fingerwork. It consists of three people disputing the same 3 things all of the GTA V ubiverse has. There has been like 2 useful things on this at all.

1) The mountain Glitch photos. Still kind of inconclusive. It coukd just be terrain base

2) It obviously wasnt important enough or I would have remembered.

Good luck to all the mystery hunters on here. I personally believe that R* let us down on this one. Just for their amusement to watch us chase our own tails and boost there Google ratings. They are laughing while we wonder, its an empty trail guys. When someone fibds sonething COMPLETELY NEW and TANGABLE with photos...wake me up

Theres a video of the mountain glitch aswell.

-

Those aren't directly under Mount Chiliad. He seems to fly toward the attached hills which all contain various train and road tunnels.

I'd need to see more.

There appear to be two tunnels there. One is the Altruist road tunnel, the other is the Chiliad rail tunnel. Edited by AnEvilVet

You are correct that it veers off to the right, but it still is mt chilliad, and there is also more if you keep flying around, it's just very hard to constantly do.

The white plain textured tunnel is the rail tunnel, The altruist tunnel is not what your seeing, go try this out to see for yourself. These black tunnels that are in the video are the only tunnels in the game which dissapear once approached in portions i might add aswell. All i can really say is these tunnels are unexplained, and are inside mt chiliad

Can this be done under the ocean?

Haven't really tried it towards the ocean but when going towards alamo sea it has placed me while flying into a random block of water kind of like a bubble and if you keep swimming out you end up free falling underneath the map again.

Also, one last thing this has been tried by a person on another thread and this is what i found-

interesting, tried it myself and one of them which goes very deep under the map starts at the blocked gate next to the sawmill.. there has to be some way to get through these gates-

Correct. I did the helicopter glitch under Chiliad and went in the same direction.

Also decided to use the same glitch and enter the FIB building.

Floor 53 is accessible. It's the floor you can see through the windows when standing on top of the building. Nothing is there except a health pack. One thing I did notice is one of the doors can be blown of it's hinges, with the wall also being damaged.

Floor 52 is accessible if you take the stairs from floor 53. Everything is destroyed due to the mission earlier.

Floors 51 to 48 are inaccessible from the stairs.

Floor 47 is accessible, but really smokey. No doors open on this floor except the entrance from the stairs.

Floors 51-48 are accessible if you go to the other side of floor 52 and jump down the holes in the floor. Again, nothing here.

Regarding the door that I managed to destroy using a rocket launcher, I'm guessing there is a door in the game that can be destroyed revealing the jetpack maybe?

I also flew under the elevator in Fort Zancudo. There is a weird spinning square directly under it, underground.

I'd say the blowing off the door thing is nothing. There are various points in the mission that have the doors triggered to blow open.

It's likely just you triggering something.

I am however interested in this part of what you said:

It's possible. But the top floor of the FIB building isn't used in a mission that I can remember. It's also just a door to a small room of servers. It's tiny and I see no significance of why the door is able to be destroyed. :(

I can go take pictures of the square spinning. Give me 10 minutes. :)

There's a thing in video game map making called visibility optimization.

Having the entire game world rendered at all times would be incredibly resource intensive and would cause frame rate issues. So basically what happens, is the game determines what you can see on your screen, and only renders that.

It also uses buildings and other objects such as mountains as occluders too.

This means that if you're in the city, when you look at a skyscraper, anything behind it is not rendered to save on resources once more.

My point is this. You're not supposed to be able to go under the map, hence why the underside of the map is not textured and therefore transparent.

You're also not supposed to be able to see whatever is there from that point of view.

In other words, I'm saying, the concept of a tunnel disappearing or appearing differently from another tunnel is not because it's an easter egg (even if it was a hidden tunnel), it's likely just glitching out based on the fact that you're under the map. A location your not supposed to be.

It depends on how you completed that mission.

In the mission, you're required to blow open the door, run in and take the hard drive from the server (or whatever), then escape.

And depending on the version, some have you go in from the roof downward, and some have you go from the ground upward (hence the extra floors).

I look forward to seeing the image!

Could the spinning "square" just be the motherstart for the rotating "beam" from the above UFO? Really nothing other than a programmer?

It could be something not meant to be seen, but map making content is usually not rendered in the final map.

You guys sure those "tunnels" aren't just the railroad?

BTW this might be something or it might be nothing but when looking in the sky from the city (think you see it from mt chiliad as well, not really sure) you can see a huge chem trail that is in the shape of an X, when it appears it seems to always be in the same place and it always looks the same.

Now my thought here is that maybe there is something at that X spot like "X marks the spot"? I have no idea if it appears during a specific time or weather, but it's there sometimes. It might lead to something or nothing, but it's worth checking out.

Will try to take a snapmatic pic at it later today if nobody else already checked it out.

not the rail road, if oyu watch the video the rail road is a plain textured rectangle and never dissapears from view, the black ones are something else.

Will try to take a snapmatic pic at it later today if nobody else already checked it out.

not the rail road, if oyu watch the video the rail road is a plain textured rectangle and never dissapears from view, the black ones are something else.

There's more than one tunnel, and they're not all for trains.

Hey, this is only my second post on these forums, but I've been playing the games for a very long time. I always love a really good easter egg hunt and I've been following this thread for over a week now.

Anyway, a few pages back people were talking a lot about shadows, and I spent a good chunk of my afternoon yesterday sitting around with Trevor watching shadows at the Sculpture Park. This is a scan of the notes I took. I used to want to be an archaeologist (haha, college, amirite!?).

Anyway, this isn't a revelation or anything, I just wanted to present some raw data. Grist for the mill, if you will. You'll notice I specified whether the tip of the pole's shadow hit the boxes on the mound or not, and generally which poles intersected what boxes at what times. I'm not convinced it will be helpful, but I figured you all could make up your own minds.

I also did a long investigation of the arrows that led me nowhere until I came back and read I'd been chasing the wrong arrows. Whoops! Maybe I'll give that another shot some other time.

Hey what about this????? So the UFO on the bottom left represents the Sunken UFO, The cracked Egg represents the downed cargo plane in the alamo sea, and the jet pack guy might just overlay???? So if someone wants to try to see if that lines up that would be an interesting find......Just a thought!

Hey guys, using the under the map glitch and skyfall I have managed to fly around inside mt chilliad....and yes iv found evidence of tunnels! they seem to work like the ufo's the way they appear, which is getting close to them. I have a video and heres some pictures, would love to hear your thoughts.

This is probably the only useful thing ive seen after all the crap i read.Unfortunately I think the tunnel is the one running through my chiliad near the altruist camp. It's a drivable tunnel

Could the spinning "square" just be the motherstart for the rotating "beam" from the above UFO? Really nothing other than a programmer?

regarding the visibility optimization post, I understand what your talking about. The thing is, although that could be the reason for the reason that they appear and dissapear..(at an unusual rate compare dto everything else around) My point isn't that there glitching..my point is that they are there.
