Far fetched idea, but I'm going to throw it out there seeing all we have is straws to clutch at-there is an egg shaped clock in the small town top left of the map. Could it be the the crack on the egg on the mural actually represents clock hands? If so, something happens at midnight.....or midday? It's the only egg shaped thing I've found, but it's probably nothing

What if the cracking egg actually means "Crack of Dawn"? Such as representing an Egg with the meaning of new? Or an egg as a representation of morning because the Egg is a popular breakfast? Cant call that idea too stupid since no one else's seems to get us any further? Haha!

Don't know if this is helpful but, earlier i went up to the fort zancudo ufo and shot the sh*t out of it, nothing happened. Now as i was about to go there again and try something else it no longer shows, i just spent 15 mins sweeping the skies and i cant find it. Don't know if i have actually done something or its maybe a glitch or i'm just really terrible at finding stuff. someone else try it and let me know if it happens to you.

Testing a few theories atm, I'm 100%, just loaded my 2am save that starts raining just before 3am on a Thursday w/ full moon- using Franklin. I went to the Chilliad UFO and called everyone in contacts, voicemails/busy all around- even tried all emergency services.
Now flying around the west side to test other theories and shooting missles at random rocks (egg theory) and searching for any openings via heli. Will report back

If you do what I said and fly out and look at the mountain to the west, it resembles the mural only backwards, so flip the mural and you clearly have the same outline as the mural apply to the mountain.

 

i mentioned this a couple pages back but no one has come up with a pic yet

Looking at the pics in the post before yours, I can't deny that the outline seems to fit perfectly when flipped.

there is an eye in the top corner, a big V in the other corner, some messy white writings i cant fully read, so if you feel like checking it out go ahead.

 

again, i am not sure if it means anything at all. If you stand on the roof of the house right across the street the MAZE building is directly behind it (with the hands pointing towards it).

 

this have been seen before but the V and the Eye weren't mentioned only the writing another thing he seems to be making a pyramid with his praying hands.

So I have posted a few things. No feedback? Generic reposts of the same thing over and over that I'm sure 18,000,000 people are trying? It isnt supposed to be easy guys.

Just finished scouting west chilliad (northwest, to west, to southwest) via heli cockpit view.
Focused around the cable car path and down to the train tracks.
Found nothing.
I missile'd rock clusters and solos, nothing.
The caves/openings I though I saw were just texture/indentions as I found out by gunning it and looking at the bullet decals while in the air.

If there is something on the west side it will have to be triggered or it isn't completely obvious.
As for something being in rocks, I feel this theory can be disproved for the west side of chilliad.

Maybe we should compile a list of theories to test, like an R&D process in a single post, post our findings to each theory and update that post? Maybe have one person moderate that post?
As these threads grow infinitely larger, new ppl will only read maybe the last few pages, would be nice to have a map of what has been tried that is parallel to theories.

seems to be a pain to find i flew around for an hour saw it for like 3 seconds then i couldnt find it again . Im trying to shoot at it while someone else is on chiliad watching the other ufo . I think its a distraction or a step not sure though

Also with the mural reversed it matches the west side. So if it's not reversed wouldn't it line up to the east side then?

Hi guys,

 

I do believe there's a jetpack in the game and that decoding the mural is the key of finding it.

 

After reading lots of threads I currently believe the following:

 

1. The above ground map has been searched thoroughly to no avail. There are no tunnels inside the mountain. This is why I think the key lies in the OCEAN.

 

2. I think there's an alien base and that's where the jetpack is located. To find the jetpack, you'll need to locate the alien base. Point 1 leads me to believe this base is found UNDERWATER.

 

3. I believe the key of locating the base involves following one of the sighted UFOs to it. There has been plenty of UFO sightings, one of those should either point to the alien base or somehow when the UFO leaves, you can follow it back to where it came from.

 

4. The mural itself is obviously a map which needs to be placed as an OVERLAY to the actual game map. We still haven't overlaid it correctly. The overlay goes over the map, not the mountain itself. Once we position the overlay correctly, it could hint to the position of the alien base. Maybe the positioning trick is to use reference points that are underwater and find an underwater target.

 

5. There are 3 drawings in the mural (UFO, eye, egg). It seems that each drawing refers to a specific character. I think the eye is Franklin. The UFO is Michael. The egg is Trevor. Maybe we need to use all 3 characters at once to solve this, like placing each in the map in a specific place.

 

6. The 3 drawings might also refer to map locations - and I think those are underwater map locations. The UFO could be the sunk UFO spotted in the ocean. The egg could be a hatch. I have no idea what the eye is. Maybe this is supposed to help us align the overlay.

I have my save during a full fricking moon party in the desert. Hippy in the hippy camp is walking talking on his cell phone saying "We're having a full moon party in the desert, you interested?! It's f*cking spirutal bro, we've had some total breakthroughs. Did ken tell you about his visitation. The aliens came to visit him. I don't doubt it, we were on shrooms." this is different than the other guy who says "Full Moon Party Tonight" I'm totally onto something. I'm following the dude walking right now sneaking behind him so he doesnt notice me.... Awww yeah told you so moment coming here.

 

Note: Following him didn't do anything but there's definitely something special about full moon days. You never would have heard that dialog any other day...

On a slightly unrelated note: I disproved that the purple dinosaur at the diner is holding an egg in the credits as I read somewhere, found a high res youtube video and it is a hotdog like normal. Probably disproved by someone else, not sure.

Hey guys, using the under the map glitch and skyfall I have managed to fly around inside mt chilliad....and yes iv found evidence of tunnels! they seem to work like the ufo's the way they appear, which is getting close to them. I have a video and heres some pictures, would love to hear your thoughts.

Been lurking here for awhile, created an account just to get in on this, I think talkol may have a point. R* DID say that exploring underwater will come with great benefits! Let's keep that in mind.

The hippy that talks on his phone is one of the two near the RV. I can confirm he does this on Full Moon days only. To get him to talk walk near him and he gets pissed. Don't get in a fight just walk away he will follow and his phone will start to ring. He has another statement sometimes and it is "Hey Gary, man what's happening. Dude I believe in what the resistance is doing but Im not going to your meeting because meetings get found out man. You never know whos a squealer We shouldn't even been talking on the phone about this.

 

Same guy will also say to your character. "Not good man, the f*cking government, they opened the artifact that unleashed hell!" I am assuming they are talking about the govt finding the sunken UFO and building the stealth plane (Or the Roswell Event in our life but the sunken UFO in their time).

 

Can someone who didn't lose their docker please take it to the hippy camp during the full moon.

 

I do not know if the Full Moon party occurs in the hippy camp or a surrounding area. I am curious.

I've been following this thread for awhile now along with a few others.

 

I believe SoulwaxFM is related in some way.

 

I believe this for 3 reasons.

 

1. The lightning bolts on the icon look like the ones around mount chiliad in the glyph.

 

2. The painting in the hippy camp says "Beam me up" and that's a song on SoulwaxFM.

 

And 3. They said their station reaches all the way from the top of mount chiliad all the way to the bottom of the ocean, I thought that was odd that they specified 2 UFO related places.

 

I could be crazy but with all of this it seems related.

I think I know where the Jetpack is. I also think Iknow where the flyable UFO is, and possibly the egg. The reason we've had little luck with the mural before is because we've been taking it on face value, associating the symbols. But then we get this message, 'segregate and rearrange.' THE GLYPHS ARE IN THE WRONG PLACES. The layout is all that matters. By overlaying it this way, the JetPack is in humane labs, the UFO over the galileo, and a cross marks the alien monument. The red eye with the lines around at the top symbolises splashdown, and lines up perfectly with the UFO crash! Can someone with 100% drive to the other crosses on the map? Also, notice Mt. Could you please refrain from the giant colored text declaring you know things? It's really misleading. So far what you've posted doesn't really mean anything.

That's why we need to FIND proof. and there is only one way to prove or disprove a hypothesis: Experiment.

 

You miss the point. You can't just declare something is something and then expect us all to go running all over San Andreas finding it, without at least some shred of evidence suggesting you're on the right track.

 

I could say: "I think the creature from within the UFO on top of Mount Chiliad is a fish, so lets search the ocean for giant UFO fish."

 

Would you want some evidence first? Or would you just go searching the ocean non-stop till you found something?

Where did you come to the conclusion that there's a random alien base?

 

That wouldn't make sense anyway, as the current UFOs are all man made.

 

The only possibly legitimate UFO is the crashed one in the ocean (possibly referring to the infamous Roswell crash).

 

The one above Fort Zancudo, while possibly using a recovered craft or alien tech is clearly some form of experimental craft.

 

And given how stereotypical the other two UFOs look (they look exactly like a cartoony science fiction alien ship, and make cartoony noises), I imagine those particular crafts were made by the FIB as a cover up.

 

In tons of UFO shows (such as the X-Files), they recover a real ship. Reverse engineer it, then create cartoony UFO hoaxes to keep the public distracted from finding out about the real stuff.

1) The mountain Glitch photos. Still kind of inconclusive. It coukd just be terrain base

 

2) It obviously wasnt important enough or I would have remembered.

 

Good luck to all the mystery hunters on here. I personally believe that R* let us down on this one. Just for their amusement to watch us chase our own tails and boost there Google ratings. They are laughing while we wonder, its an empty trail guys. When someone fibds sonething COMPLETELY NEW and TANGABLE with photos...wake me up

Not Sure if anyone has Found this yet. I have not seen it yet myself online. It may not be much but it is the first Symbol (glyph) with letters I have seen. It is on the sand by a large round pole. I seen more of these poles. Maybe this will open up new searches. Been Following this thread Since this post was made.
