Anyone tried(probably not, lol) going through the game without killing anybody using the Fail/Skip and Taxi quick destination methods?

Only way i can think of to not kill anyone.

1. Die and skip EVERY mission.

2. Use Taxi's to quick travel as to not kill any Ped's.

3. Being SUPER careful when these are not available options.

was thinking i might try this, it can't take too long to kill yourself and skip everything.

Except you HAVE to kill the guard on the first mission, unfortunately.

it would be very diffcult, and would be a great waste of significant time and effort if you discover nothing. On the other hand, it would be awsome if you discover something related. But almost imposble to do that without killing anybody, even when you crash other cars, the driver dies.

Its kind of a confession and something that i want to get off my chest, this whole hunt has been so hyped up that my expectations have sky-rocketed for that final big thing. And im pretty sure this whole hunt has been part of the life for some of you. What i hope to see in GTA V specially considering all the theories and speculation that has been brought up before is, i personally want following things to occur.

Looking back at the forum, so many things have been bombarded to us that it is so easy to get derailed, it has reached to a point where we are not specific for what we are looking for. Some may look for another UFO, some are after jetpack, some just for small eastereggs. BUT TO ME, considering the statements by the devs (''Gamers wont be able to find all the easter eggs''), it has to be something big. Like an earthquake or a volcano, heck even a flood that would lead to a game changing scenario.I mean after years in game development and hundreds of pages of our investigation who would want to settle for a DLC or a rusty tractor?? not me atleast no sir definitely not.

In the end, for that big event to occur, i think we need to be bit more profound, a bit more tactical with the approach, not just cargobob the spackdocker and land it somewhere. Im pretty sure it will all be over by the time PC version releases and there will be this one guy that will come up with all the answer we are looking for. But it doesn't mean we should stop at all because its the journey that is beautiful than the destination itself.

mmm chocolate

Everyone comes in here with too many statements ending in question marks.

Either play the game and find out for yourself, or just assume 'it has already been asked' c'mon, 350 pages?

Yes we know which part of the map youre referring to, now go search it and only post if you find something!

Giving up after two months? The reason we haven't found the jetpack, is because everyone is trying ridiculously complex theories that make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

It won't be found due to a chain of events, its an unlockable. Completely finish the game, that will aid significantly in the search.

The jetpack would be a game breaker in the sense that it would make everything a billion times easier (unless its a rocket strapped to our backs). But it makes sense that it wouldn't be available unless there is absolutely NOTHING left to do.

I believe that this is a 3 part puzzle. I think that the altruist camp has something to do with finding the jetpack. I know that the altruist camp has been thoroughly investigated by everyone on here, but I think that it is the key to finding the jetpack and that we are missing something. The only reason I think that is because of the altar with the jetpack symbol at 20:00 (that or its just a strange coincidence).

I think the second part of the puzzle has to do with taking the jetpack to the ufo above hippy rock.

I think the final piece of the puzzle somehow involves "taking control" of the UFO above zancudo base.

I believe the mural at the top of chiliad represents those 3 locations. UFO representing UFO above hippy rock. cracked egg referencing the UFO above Zancudo base (on the UFO it spells out easter egg if you scramble the words). The jetpack representing Altruist camp (the burned image/shadow of the jetpack symbol on the rock at 20:00).

I agree with the complex theory part. We should first figure out the clues blatantly given to us, such as those on the blueprint map, if enough ideas are tried to "take control" of Zancudo there might be something massive in the building highlighted!

I also noticed lastnight that as i did stuff online it gained a little check mark over its map icon (races, missions, even tennis and golf).

For the people that are in the "the online has something to do with it camp" could we have to check off all the avalible map items to get some sort of compleation or "100%"? Or at least the orignal Rockstar ones because i know the DLC is alowing people to make their own.

Just food for thought

Edit: spelling

I honestly really doubt that, it is plausible, but they give our statistics in the menu which show 100%. If the quote above is right about the easter eggs really difficult to find, then there will be a long series of things to do to get anywhere.

I just tried that. I am thinking it has something to do with the glyph in the cave under the altruist camp, It is a blue line with half red sun leading me to think when the sun is setting on the ocean. I stood on the altar around this time and the guy who also stands there looking out over the ocean stripped naked so i shot him in the head. Did nothing. I still think that glyph is the key we are over looking. It's also on the back of one of the houses in the altruist camp too. What does "The path is lit" mean? Its there too. The cave has a fire and so is lit.

Id do it but not quite to 100%

might have some significance. Another thing how come those two altruists have a conversation about modifications made to the spectrometer? and if you walk toward them the same guy says "Try all you want but you will never find the spectrometer" or something along those lines. I remember thinking hang on a minute i wasn't even looking for the spectrometer but maybe it's a hint that i should be.

Try changing the weather to sunny with the cheat code at the altruist camp. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I agree as there is a full sun there too however i can't try that due to never using cheats.

I find it odd that no-one seems to want to delve into popular culture here. I'm gettign a few ideas that undergound may not be so silly after all. When the invasion is in full swing, the crazy soldier in 'War of the Worlds' wants to rebuild civilisation under the ground

If anyone still cares (as it was spoken of a few pages back) some of the side missions when replayed effect the game world if done differently (as in progressed further towards 100%) ie the letter scraps final mission, I goofed it up and still passed so I had to redo it and the new outcome was broadcasted on the radio later
