I wanted to follow up on something that I saw posted a while back. There is a map painted on the ground in Vespucci Beach. Has anyone found the spot on the map that it represents? Perhaps it's a clue. This is the best photo I could get of it.

I've been searching the map for about 20 minutes and so far I found one area that might be similar if you don't match it up to scale like it's drawn.

 

It's the area right in the tattoo shop location which is slightly in front of the drawn map on the concrete. The same shapes are there, but some of it doesn't match up. Like the curve part doesn't match up with the big white line and some of the squiqqly lines aren't there.

 

I'll keep looking, but that's the closest I've seen so far.

 

Also, 1807..The 7 is highlighted, so maybe it stands for 187 as in homicide?

I think I've made some major progress here... After having fallen out of his car while driving, I happened to face Franklin more or less North at approximately 12˚ to the second Glyph on Mount Chiliad.

Of course this was completely by accident but when I faced that way, suddenly a strange diamond shaped yellow metal plate with two arrows became visible... in fact this "Diamond Glyph Plate" or "DGP" as I like to call it can only be see when the camera is facing it...

 

 

I experimented for a while, opening and closing my eyes, which did not tell me much. But I can confirm that if you turn the camera completely around you can no longer see it. This invisibility phenomenon completely baffled me... after spending several hours contemplating its meaning I ran out of beer.

At that point I happened to point my eyes down at approximately 8˚ and suddenly I noticed a second diamond shaped sign... or the "Second Diamond Shaped Sign But This One Has Red Dots On It" or "SDSBTOHRDOI" as I like to call it... only this diamond shaped sign had red dots on it instead of arrows... I immediately went down to the basement and after falling down the last 12 steps found another case of beer... this was my special clue pondering beer, so I carried it upstairs in in effort to ponder this new clue... I was very concerned as to how the "SDSBTOHRDOI" had gotten there... it must have appeared magically, since I do not recall having seen it when I discovered the "DGP"... then again I do not recall purchasing a live goat, but one appears to be living here with me now, so there could be some other forces at play here too...

Okay... heres my take on this... Don't hate...

A diamond is made of 2 triangles... but has 4 edges... a mountain is shaped like a triangle so therefor the diamond must represent a man who has climbed a mountain, a man who had 2 arms, but also had 4 limbs altogether, the split in the diamond to divide it into two triangles must represent the division between the world of the living and the world of the dead, also the two arrows might represent this guy being buried... this could only be a reference to Sir Edmund Hillary... the guy who climbed Mount Everest or something like that... since he died in 2008 and there are 9 red dots on the "SDSBTOHRDOI", and nine is only one more than eight, so this leaves on dot left over, a reference to the all seeing eye!!

Yeah... Following me? Okay we need to all go get those bulldozers and dig up Los Santos... I'm positive Sir Edmund Hillary is buried somewhere out there and we need to find him... I'm sure if take his severed head and throw it at the door next to mural it will open up... we might need to use the Space Docker too... maybe to honk at stuff...

Now here is my second shocking finding:

 

 

Please ignore what I wrote on the picture as I may have been wrong about it at the moment... my new theory is that these glyphs are inviting us to stop for some reason at this spot... I Googled the letters individually as they seem very similar to english, but individually they have no real meaning... I used some hi tech code breaking algorithms but my Fisher Price Code-Master2000 just blew up... I eventually resorted to using using a combination of intuition and random Wikipedia searches... which is telling me S-T-O-P, may be a reference to the modern english word "Stop" which means to stop or no longer "go"....

 

Okay I'm really sorry if I blew your mind or rocked your world or anything like that... I'm gonna go get out a case of "Digging stuff up with a bulldozer" beer, a start my search for Sir Edmund Hillary...

Thank you for the insight. Every time I think I can match the area with a corresponding part on the map, I find something that's off a bit. I'm sure there has to be something to it though.

it's what the hunt is doing to me. i am having a discouraged, irritable night of it, frankly. i'm watching a bunch of really smart people tear this game a new one from every angle they can think of and come up with naught, and more and more i am moving to the camp that thinks the ufo's are it until DLC or a freaking miracle hint from rockstar. hence i've stayed out of the discussion for the most part.

My opinion is that there will be DLC involving aliens/ a fake government/FIB invasion. Just to appease the fans I would imagine rockstar would place a jetpack in said DLC. They kind of have to now, they must know the lengths people have gone to. All the stress, anger, bewilderment, sleepless nights could have been put to a stop if only they had came out and said if we have found everything or if there is indeed a point to continue looking for more rewards.

 

You never know, they could just add the jetpack in as regular DLC, and it will appear on the wall in ammunation. That would be a kick in the balls for everyone who has focused solely on finding it in game.

How's this for something new? Was checking out the Clucking Bell Farms/Factory building, climbed onto the roof by using the dumpsters, and whilst searching for a means to get to a higher pointer, I recieved a werid text message from Ron:

This was done in Online, but I'm confident it should be repeatable in Single Player.

i've noticed there is plenty of room for future dlc in ammu-nation, further along the wall. and honestly, it isn't even a jetpack that's my focus anyway; i don't care whether it is an all-powerful vehicle, or access to hookers and blow, or even a twenty dollar bill popping out of the console, it's FINDING OUT WTF, yanno? a lot of people here evaluate ideas with the thought that past gta games did or didn't do this or that, but this is supposed to be a new era of gaming and such, right? what in past gta experiences accounts for an hour-long cobweb out of freaking nowhere?

Ron is a character in the online version. You can do missions for him. I'm guessing that is where this ties in.

i personally wont accept the flyable UFO dlc just to make it all reasonable, this, this whole investigation is the part of the game, and if it was all for a DLC, rockstar will be the new EA, and i will absolutely detest it.

So, there's a message from the 'infinity killer' which seems to make me curious to whether or not these two are LINKED. Now hear me out before dismissing what I say, and I'm also not sure if someone else has mentioned this (I really did read some of the posts, but 263 pages are too much. Albeit Brian's long posts did take up a lot of this..) He says 'Where water meets land and where fire once spewed forth, There the infinite 8 shall stay, until I return' - What does this mean though? Maybe this has something to do with it, why would he be returning? I know the infinite 8 are his victims hidden off the coast but the returning part is the part that is bugging me and makes me think that these are interlinked somehow. Maybe it's worth looking into? I've never been that good at this kind of stuff though :'(
