Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

Just a wee couple of observations made at the Altruist camp (that I haven't seen mentioned before) :

 

1. Pretty butterflies spawning at one particular porch (with the shiney metal box marked 'plastic explosive')

 

2. Carved rock showing a zig-zag and tower (either the egg or path to mast...or both!) definately not a texture thing. Also has the three lines and something else I can't quite make out.

 

Nothing groundbreaking I'm sure, just wanted to share

Dude, I spent 25 min trying to steal a titan and getting killed.... Why? So I could fly it to the giant orange ball and try to push the orange ball inside of the Titan so I could fly it to the hippie camp and try to roll it onto that weird white ring that's in front of "US"....

 

what are the clues leading to that?

I don't know. I guess it was a combination of:

 

The answer is right in front of "US"...

The weird white raised ring in front of "US"

The fact that the white ring looks like you would put a ball in it

The mention on here of the orange ball having significance

Stuff like that. Random thoughts.... I was prob a little over tired.

this prooves that it doesnt proove anything. heck we are talking about a video game. everything is possible in it. and not to mention that we know the fort z ufo has a light beamer. the shadow could just be a projection too. regarding it only appears at certain times it would be logic. just to lure people that it is real. conspiracy ftw xD

 

I have not seen the shadow but my guess would be it only appears at certain times due to the position of the sun

 

what if the symbols on the map on the top of mount chiliad stands for the endings?

so if you kill trevor you can get a jetpack.

if you kill michael you can get the ufo.

and if you make the wish to death all characters stay alive.

so you get a 'price' for every decision you make.

and the other little boxes on the map with the crosses inside are just decisions you made during the game.

so could it be that the map on mount chiliad is only a storyline? and you can only have one of these 'prices'? think about it!

 

I completed a 100% file with michael dead this morning . Nothing changed at chiliad .

 

unlikely because you can replay each of the 3 choices no matter what you choose.

 

You can do it in replays but the outcome will remain the same . If you kill someone off they remain dead .

 

i was thinking dont you need to kill them all to get gold for that mission and there is an achievment for getting all missions on gold?

 

It depende on what option you choose

No, that was a jovial discussion, not one person said it was in order to solve the puzzle. I dont recollect anything useful youve posted, at least mentioning butterflies shows people are looking a bit more carefully.

Dude, it's a game that made you walk a scaled 5 miles through a desert to unlock the next part of a mission... and you don't think that there is a chance that butterflies flying around a mystical camp with weird music playing and guys standing with their penises out on a water tower MIGHT have something to do with it?

No I don't think butterflies are the answer.

 

I think the answer relies on another red glyph somewhere. Where there are red glyphs on the ground, is where there are UFOs. Somewhere in the city, there is going to be another glyph, with another UFO in the air. I've been looking, but Los Santos is f*cking huge.

 

All anyone has found in the city, is a few buildings with some partially related sculptures infront of them. The city has way more in it than this. Everyone is spend their time looking in the north area, where we need to be in the south in the city looking. With all those buildings and all that area, there is more to be found.
