People are not reading each others posts, this is becoming a diarrhea of the mouth thread.

 

Gents, as I suggested earlier, why not just post when you have something compelling? I realize forums/threads are a place to bounce ideas off each other, but there is so many outlandish theories, this thread has gotten ridiculous.

 

If we only post when we think we're truly on to something, we can save post after post of drivel and make the thread more valuable while saving pages.

 

We have 220 pages of ideas and no one is going back through 220 pages to see what has been tried and what hasn't. I suggest we make a new thread with what we know are hard facts to date.

Definitely a good idea! I suggested this way back mate - with even a pinned Excel / generic spreadsheet table holding each attempted 'thing'. I got lost in the middle of some troll-based shenanigans though.

 

Yeah, a spreadsheet is another good idea. Just something that we can post that cuts down on 220 pages of useful and useless information. Too many idiotic trolls in this thread. At this point, we need a SANITY CHECK.

 

I know solving this isn't going to be nearly as spectacular as some of the ideas posted here.

 

BTW, the Chiliad auto tunnel, I noticed that there is one strange gap in the light panel near T01. I believe someone else called it out, I have super jumped my ass off and keep banging my head and dying, LOL.

 

I still think this puzzle may have a solution in the sky.

 

 

There was a theory I heard at a friends how, maybe we need to locate more ufo's in the sky and then visit them in a special order to trigger a cutscene. Or maybe we need to do it with just the three.

 

This is what I mean by outlandish.

 

No offense, but I'm talking more along the lines of constellations and lining things up with the stars to reveal something on the game map.

 

I don't think the UFOs have any relevance in solving the end puzzle.

 

I like the recent theories on the Paleto bay Easter Egg alignment.

 

I'm telling you, this isn't going to have some wild solution, it's going to be a very logical and rational solution. We need to think like puzzle designers to solve this.

I'm pretty sure that cargobobbing the space docker - or any other vehicle for that matter - to any location on the map, doesn't affect anything. Why?

 

Because from reading this thread, it's already been done. Everything has been cargobobbed to everywhere. Just to be on the safe side, textures that were looking at people a bit funny, have been cargobobbed.

 

The Space Docker has honked its horn at everything from a slightly startled moose in Blaine County, to the Hippy Camp UFO whilst piloted by an Epsilon robed Michael fresh from a hit of Jimmy's bong.

 

How did the the Space Docker get that high, I hear you ask? The f*ckin' Cargobob, that's how.

Im going to try this when I get home but if anyone wants to save me the trouble: get all 3 characters in view of each UFO. Don't know what this would do but at very least prove what I believe Kurtcobain said about the sandyshores UFO being the same as the chiliad. And do the FZ and sandy shores UFO appear at night?

There are 6 ufos we know of and it was my theory about visiting them in order but it seems to have been ignored.

 

Races are sometimes time specific, normally night races. The H&P that eluded me was to win a game of tennis, i didnt realise you had to change the settings to game.

Dont forget to go to the cinema etc with a friend as well as on your own.

Yea try takeing all 3 characters in a helicopter to both fort zancudo and sandy shores idk what els there is to do lol or try ramming the ufos with that huge ass cargo plane or the jet.With the cargo plane it has DEF gotta fall down cuz i mean that plane is like f*cking planezilla

i pm'd alabamafatts shortly after his posts on alignment, and something he said struck me as interesting; he said when he got through most of the ground puzzles, he took the helicopter and it turned into puzzles involving the clouds and gaps in them. granted, i have seen no evidence to lead me there, but the sincerity of his description and the effort he went to to try to explain what he thought he did seemed legit. of course i could be wrong or trolled, but i hate to rule out something i have no ability to disprove, since triangulating is beyond me. and i know it has been tried....and tried. but so has everything else, and i am slap out of ideas.

 

so either i got trolled, or the guy was mistaken in a huge way, or he is now at home laughing at us and switching between trevor in the jetpack, and michael in the flyable ufo, using it like a cargobob to lift a giant dinosaur egg out of an erupting chiliad while franklin shoots down illuminati helicopters and epsilon snipers.

My theory for the $500k has always been that $500k was the original amount for the docks but R* changed it to $250k after the maps were finalised.

 

Hmm... goog thought. But don't you think they'd have commented about it being changed by now? I can understand them leaving us hanging on all these crazy mysteries we've cooked up on our own, but to leave a false tip out there that people basically paid extra for seems unlikely

haha that actually made me laugh. It also reminded me I took a few pics of my game and wanted to overlay them.

 

I took an overhead pic of the "jetpack man" looking shadow on my game (with my actual phone so I could get a more square view of the shadow), and a pic of the jetpack man on the mural. All pictures were not changed to make them "skinnier," "wider" (Cant think of the word, but scale/perspective has not been changed). Below are a few overlays: top 3 pics are cropped originals (top middle is wall erased, only paint remains), 2 bottom left pics are transparent shadow over jetpack mural man, bottom right is transparent jetpack mural man over the shadow.

 

 

I am not saying this was definitely on purpose, and i have no idea what this would even mean if it was, but it is a very close match on a very conspicuous rock. Just wanted to show that people who see that shadow as strange aren't going nuts. Regarding all of the others shadows and textures I cannot say the same.

 

edit: wanted to add that a few people (not sure who) believe that the cave with the skull and/or the sungazing cliff are important to this mystery. This rock is at the same location.

Thats weird. When i go there no one is around. Never seen or heard of anyone since up there.

 

Maybe its me thats done somthing different lol.

Make mine a third way. I completed the camp as normal. Took 4 people, killed them all when they turned on me and got the camp cleared message. Now when I come flying into the camp with Trevor, there is usually a few in the camp running for their life when they see me coming.

I think that if we study the sky at the right times under the right moons, we will see an alignment take place that will reveal something. One part of a solution like this would be timing and the other part would be knowing where to look.

 

I think much more investigation needs to be done at various locals already mentioned, the Altruist camp, the Fort, and Hippy UFO camp, and various other locations off Chiliad.

 

I do not believe we have tried everything despite all of our collected efforts. This is why a spreadsheet or document should be drafted. We could open it up to the community and record all known facts to date.

 

Only after looking at hard data will things become clear. There are so many things to forget in this game, we're nuts for going about it in a forum like this without a controlled document. All additions would have to be voted in.
