A guard rail isnt a train track. Its a railing to protect or prohibit somebody or somthing going somewhere.

Guard rail is on the highways, Check the Wiki.

The cross on the back of the map interests me but I'm finding it impossable to get its exact location. If i had the map size then a measurement from two sides i could replicate it on my normal map. I think it can be read a number of ways but without having it in my hands i cant check and previous requests for measurements seem to have fallen by the way side.

1) Does the possibility exist that R* makes a statement bout the Jetpack/mural in the next weeks?

I don't think of a hint, just sth like "Yes there are major Eggs not found?"

to get this clear:

I believe that theres something more to the Mural/Jetpack. I searched for 24h myself after 100%.

It would be just a little bit more fun if you know for sure theres something.

and 2)

Just wondering how long does it took in San Andreas to find the Jetpack?

Orange, did i not just say that? What wiki and whats wiki got to do with anything?

I told you what a guard rail is, theres no dispute on my side, i am 100% correct as confirmed by yourself with your post straight after mine.

With the amount of people looking for it, the news articles about it. If there isnt a jetpack and it was all a hoax i think a lot of people will be disapointed in rockstar.

They also just need to release a statement saying "yes it outs there" people are losing interest since there is no leads at all.

I myself want to buy arkham origins and move on. Companys know after a few months they need to release dlc or something because after people have lost interest in playing its hard to sell dlc to a game noone is playing anymore.

i've still been trying alabamafatt's theory of alignment, too, but i gave that up as not having enough information as to where to start, and after an hour or so on it, i got shot in the face by a random event and went back to smuggling guns.

and don't worry, if i find anything i think hasn't been found i will come screaming back here with evidence in hand. or on snapmatic.

Trying alabamafatt's theory would be like a doctor of medicine trying homeopathy. I wouldn't even go there, they are the insane ramblings of someone who's been exposed to this mystery a bit too long.

Have been exploring blueprint map. 'Between the crates' is the RPG (http://ru.socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/snapmatic/photo/R3mVkP2ETUSiG8YdXjCwcQ; http://ru.socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/snapmatic/photo/Q6QQKq9D6UaqU5Nf0v8zDQ), which is hidden between the boxes in Altruist's camp. Also, I found some entrance there. http://ru.socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/snapmatic/photo/cGH7egTDb0-DcaudLdvEAA

And idk what to do with the docks... Cuz looked throught the other thread, i've found out that the length from the bridge to the dirt road is 0.2mi, not 0.5. And there is said 'Docks' - plural. And sonar dock is dock.

Two Xs may mean the submarine parts and the US plane. Frank Mathers - is that guy, who sunk with the submarine. So idk...

Well done orange you had me going for a few seconds there. Your obviously a member under a different name taking the proverbial out of the thread. Its not helpful but if your bored whatever floats your boat i just wish you would take it elsewhere.

It wasn't hidden. It was part of a storyline mission.

Hatch? It's a textured piece of ironwork. It's not a liftable cover.

Jesus guys, you're seeing any piece of set decoration as a potential lead and the next massive step in a mystery which is one of your own making.

The majority of the game world has things like this added to it to add to the verisimilitude of the world. These mise-en-scene are just there to look at. They're not for anything otherwise they'd stand out like the glyphs, the mural and the marking opposite the mural.

Oh and if you honestly think this can be lifted by a hook, TRY IT and then come back and tell us if it worked. I am honestly fed up with people posting stuff without trying it.

That was me who posted that.

I agree I really don't think it's anything but still I was working on a hunch that led me there. I didn't just stumble across it.

The texture is used elsewhere, but none of them have the same raised like features around the grate like this one. It's in front of the Observatory.

I tried with the cargobob with no luck but it takes my ages to hook a car.

I also have no Spacedocker if its needed.

Again I know it's prob nothing but don't totally dismiss it without checking it in game first.

In that case if its not a wind up i appolagise. Orange should at least read a little.

He's getting there, and he's also looking at something that there's no answer for yet.

The "entrance" at the altruist camp says "embrace" not entrance.... "embrace the light" to be exact.

I find the docks mystery to be very strange... it's not something we've cooked up in our heads... it's a legit hint from Rockstar, yet it's unsolved to my knowledge. I GUESS the $500k is an arbitrary number to get us to the brief case side mission... but that's weird, aint it?

My theory for the $500k has always been that $500k was the original amount for the docks but R* changed it to $250k after the maps were finalised.

Ugh, doing things systematically is so boring. So, each lunar phase takes three nights. With 8 lunar phases, that makes 24 days a "lunar month" in GTAV. I'm 9 game days away from the full moon I've been waiting for, and the sheer patience it is taking to simply see it through to the end is only making me more confident in the payoff. God I hope this isn't just a bunch of hokum.

That's possible. After all, they cocked up the number of Epsilon Tracts that could be collected.

Well you'd come across the random encounter anyway by just driving along that road. Same with the sonar dock, it appears on your map when you get to the right point in the campaign.

I want to know why the car park in the film studio looks like an empty swimming pool. It has rectangle drain holes on its edge and a big round manhole cover in the middle.

Tonight I'm going to take a fire engine there and see if it fills up. Just to put my mind at ease.

I know I've doubted your theory but, for your sake, I hope something pays off for you.

Please let us know either way.

There is a mission for Michael that explains this. It is actually a drained water tank.

These were (and still are) often used in films that required a scene on or in water. They would be filled and then the shoot would take place.

As this studio is on it's way out, the pool has been drained and is now sued as a car park.

Just a point about the 500K at the docks thing. I've read a few times about it triggering a sort of set-up scenario where the Chinese ambush you and shout 'give us the money' etc. Was this ruled out as an explanation?

Thanks evil, either i did a different part of that mission or ive forgotten it. Likely the latter.

Still going to try filling it up again lol.

No worries. It's a piece of dialogue as you're landing the helicopter for the first mission Michael does at the film studio (you go to a club and kidnap two guys from the roof)

I think evil said that if you use the x as a reference to the front of the map instead of looking through the map then you get the place where the Chinese are. I dont remember anything happening after you kill them. Maybe it needs looking at again?

@AnEvilVet - hey, thanks. For my own sanity, I hope there is something to this, too.

While I'm sitting here, just watching the time drift away, I have been trying to pass the monotony by running up into the camp during the day to scout around. I keep running up the water tower before dawn and watching the sunrise. From that perspective, the sun always rises in the notch between Mt. Chiliad and the actual mount that the camp is on. Then the sun follows the outline of the camp mount all the way until it is parked directly on top of the mountain, just like the all-seeing eye in the mural.

Also, the guy standing on the water tower is in his underwear, much like Trevor is when you switch to him sometimes. Trevor is also the only character who doesn't get shot at immediately upon sneaking in. So, I'm using Trevor.

Now I'm starting to think the sun glyph in the back of the cave ties into the full moon. When the full moon hits, I'm going to shoot it, then run up to the water tower the following morning and shoot the sun. What the hell, couldn't hurt!

Just a tip if anyone needs all 3 in the same spot. Just call franklin and mike to hangout. They will both hangout with you at the same time and follow you around till you die.

Yep. At least, 75% of the inscriptions on the map aren't solved yet. Does anybody know what means 'to the drink', 'shoot for the stars', 'cbl = omega', 'rail cabin', 'take control' and some square symbol with an arrow in Fort Zancudo? I think no. So I'm not messing the shi~ about, I'm trying to find what this all means. :/

I keep posting the space docker honking at the ufo because it is just as useless as everything else on here. 218 pages and still nothing. People replying to others and making the thread longer than it should be. Im just contributing the useless info just like others are. But seriously has anyone tried it?
