Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but I was running around the buildings at the sandy shore hangar and kept hearing what sounded like a baby Dino or or weird bird I've never heard before. Are there vultures in the game? I haven't seen any. It's probly nothing but there ya go

There are birds and coyotes in that area that make noises frequently.

With that being said this isn't a regular bird call like you usually hear. It's weird lol. Also when you walk out of the sandy shore clinic there is a rock formation that almost looks like it has an egg on top (you find a space ship part there). I got to the top and you have a perfect view of chilliad and there is a road going straight tords the mountain (kinda reminded me of the straight line on the mural) also I noticed contrails in the sky that make a big x over what I think is the wind farm area. Gonna go check it out

And thanks dude. It started getting on my nerves that I couldn't find something like this with all 5 murals anywhere.

I think either a new thread or an updated main post needs to be made with all the facts found.

Now if someone can get a good angled profile pic of the mountain we may yet get a good line up.

And this is what I was getting at with the hippie camp relating to being abducted I didnt think 2 ufo's would spawn up there thats why I thought those glyphs pointed toward that

How are you guys making the connection that one of those glyphs means 3 AM? Maybe it just happens to appear at 3 am but the glyph stands for something else. What if there were actually 5 ufo's? One for each glyph? The Chilead UFO is the one that is the glyph with the rain, the one over the military base could be the one with the beam coming out of it(doesn't it project a beam on the ground?) and the one with the moon and 3 lines could be over the hippie camp since that same symbol is spotted there. Also, the "half glyph" could represent a ufo that is half buried, like the one in the ocean. Any thoughts?

The only connection there is the 3 lines=3am

 

I think that is quite a stretch. That same glyph with the 3 lines is spotted at the hippie camp and from what I understand, that has nothing to do with 3 AM. I think that glyph could have a much more significant meaning but that is just my opinion.

What do you mean it has nothing to do with it? The mural on the wall leads you to find the glyphs, the glyphs are clues that correspond to different UFO's. The fact that the UFO in Sandy Shores flies right above one of the glyphs is a great connection. Did you not read my previous post? It makes a hell of a lot more sense than 99% of this entire thread.

You mean to say the hippie camp is only referring to the chiliad ufo I mean it makes sense but what was already on chilliad seemed more than enough to lead us in the right direction once the mural was discovered I've only been playing the game for a few weeks so I don't know where the search began but I still think theres more to the hippie camp than clues to chiliad but it makes sense what you said

 

I'm saying the reverse. I'm saying the glyphs on chilead are clues to help find the ufo's. The glyph with the moon and 3 lines is referring to the hippie camp UFO, NOT the chilead UFO.

 

Here is the same glyph at the hippie camp below the UFO.

 

By coming to the conclusion that the mountain glyphs are clues to other UFO's, it only makes sense that one would see both glyphs and make connection.

 

What would you explain the bottom three boxes to be with this theory then? Why a picture of a jetpack? Linked to the ufo? Is there any way of attacking the ufo with the attack chopper?

 

Bottom 3 boxes will hopefully be rewards for each character after the egg is completed. However, like I said, I don't think that we have even found all of the UFO's yet since according to my theory, there will be 5, and at most we have 4 if you can count the one in the ocean. I don't think that the bottom boxes are relevant at the moment as we haven't completed the most basic steps to get the ball rolling here. Crawl before you walk type of thing...

Got an idea, hear me out...

 

We know Rain/3AM make the hologram UFO appear BUT, those glyphs are together at the Hippy Camp.

 

Here is what i'm thinking, WHAT IF the telescopes/pay binoculars are telling us WHERE to use the conditions?

 

Hippy Camp has Rain/3AM

Hippy Camp observation deck points to chiliad.(both seem to point in same direction, iirc, correct me if i'm wrong please)

chiliad UFO uses Rain/3AM.

 

Going from there we then have the observation deck atop Chiliad.

The scopes there seem to point in TWO different directions.(Pointing towards Hippy Camp and City/Zancudo)

On the Mural we have TWO path options it seems.(2 UFO's and conditions?)

The scopes are pointing in the directions of TWO known UFO's.

 

That's all i got, just trying to find a way for the Rain/3AM conditions to get from Hippy Camp to chiliad and the scopes seemed like a "Maybe"

I wonder if color of the glyph has anything to do with it because I've noticed that there are white ones and yellow ones. All the ones on the side of mt chili ad are white except the top while others found near the altruist camp and hippie camp are yellow.

I signed up to gtaforums JUST, for the single sole purpose of, telling you guys to do your damn research.

 

I've been lurking the 2 original jet pack threads, the chiliad mystery thread and this thread since pretty much page 1 on all.

 

You guys have legit found nothing new I'm sorry to say. Google is your friend, hell google chiliad and click images, already shows most of what you guys are just now stumbling upon.

 

I really really hope this gets through as you're all getting excited over old crap, find new clues.

There could be even more UFO's for all we know, but I just feel like this is more logical than most of the previous approaches. Definitely worth an in depth look.

Faded/whole glyph- sunken UFO

faded/half missing glyph- WTF?!? "UFO"

rain glyph- chiliad UFO?

moon glyph-also chiliad?

Yeah, I'm at a loss here, zancudo's might be the beam one, but chiliad required two. Added: and some of the glyphs are the same between mt chiliad and the hippie camp
