Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

I don't remember, wasn't it established that the beam glyph was named "mountain" in the game files?

It was not, there was nothing linking it to the picture.

 

The "Mountain" you are referring to was almost 10x the file size of the Rain and Moon glyphs that were also found, so "Mountain" probably is the Mural OR there was another file 2x the size of "Mountain", that could be the mural also.

 

Anyways, the "Mountain" file was so much bigger than the other actual pictures found(there was no pic for mountain found iirc, just a file name) that it was most likely NOT one of the symbols/glyphs.

 

Seeing as how the Hippy Camp matches the glyph pretty much spot on in 3 areas i don't think it's an issue anymore.

Givin that the jetpack and UFO on the mural are connected with a line makes me think they have at least something to do with eachother, and also how the lines all add up to "the all seeing eye" I'm pretty sure when you get all the pieces to the puzzle you'll be able to actually solve the big egg, the big egg being something to do with the all seeing eye, it could be insane, but I'm really opposed to how they set the game up around an illuminutti professor theme if you will

To add to that, the Epsilon mission are freaky, seeming that every word out of them are hints and clues to the mural, and they have us search for epsilon TRACTS, hinting maybe at something to do with the epsilon TRACTOR

Possibly, the "Beaming up" part of the glyph represents the mound/hill and the box/tunnel on top under the eye represents the wall that the Rain glyph sits behind on top of the mound as it looks similar when facing the mound. Hill with square on top.

i was flying under fort zancudo with a buzzard (checking to see if i could glitch in the elevator)
and I saw a bus, like, a real bus that stops at bus stops, driving around inside fort zancudo.

got it on "tape" with my camera phone, will post it later. maybe worth checking if we could get inside fort zancudo with no wanted level while passenger in a bus or busdriver. (or could be a glitch/bug, but worth chexking out imo)

I don't know about you guys but the way I mapped out the hippie camp with the entire mountain range of Chiliad and Gordo is where I'm hunting. Braddock Farm is where I'm going next. The big red arrow points there, there is marijuana there which made us get abducted early in the game and there is cattle which have always been connected to alien lore irl. BradDOCK/Space DOCKer. It's going to take forever but I'm going to drive the Epsilon tractor there as well.

Yeah I feel the same Lester has a play in all of this but to trigger the egg I don't think so. But maybe just his house is crawling with hints and his personality of a creepy geek that knows too much for his own good definitely makes me think, I'm thinking there are a series of secrets missions along the lines of the epsilon ones, but that could be me thinking too hard

Dude, I'm just saying I'm not sold. Not saying you're wrong, just that there are other theories.

 

I'm saying box at the top, what looks like path leading up a mountain make me doubt that it 100% is a "beam me up" glyph. I would be sold on beaming up if the glyph maybe had multiple downward lines, not a zig-zag.

 

Just giving my honest opnion, which I thought you wanted.

Hey, I just found this thread today because I 100% the game last night but I thought that I would add to the hidden clues on the blueprint map. I have the special edition so I've been studying the map and I realized that none of it is directed towards single player. All the fast cash places are stores to rob and all the safe houses are apartments to buy online. So this being the case maybe the hints that show up under a UV light are also meant for Online. I suggest someone goes to the place that asks for $500,000 in multiplayer and also check out the other circled areas like the prison and block 9A. I would but I don't have much money online I think I might go to the prison though. Oh one more thing, maybe there is a mission or something online where you take over Fort Zancudo because it mentions that on the map too. Or you can do it with all your friends idk.

It involves the space docker . I know . I know . But i have not seen it mentioned or tried on youtube .

Its gonna sound quite simple . I have tried for 6 hours with no luck .

Ok . At the Vinewood sign there is a small landing right next to the huge antenna .

Get the Docker on it with a passenger at 3 am with thunder .

Its full of satellite dishes and right next to the huge antenna .

If the Docker is gonna work anywhere this would be the spot .

Please if anyone is skilled enough attempt this and report back .

Wehn standing on the platform Some look left to Gordo . Some look right to the altruist camp and the fort . Now when you look in front of you .. what do you see . A big ass ufo and the 5 buildings downtown . What you do not see is what is between them . The Vinewood Antenna!!!

I just wasted some time coming up with a pic of the mural I can overlay, I traced this from a social club pic so it should be perfect if anybody wants to try any overlays (dont get mad at me when people get pissed for posting them).

 

 

 

Then I tried the overlay that strangone came up with, but with the actual proportionate mural. I could not get anything to match up. I was hoping it would match up like his...

 

but the closest I could get was by making the mural "shorter" (I assumed the average slope of Chiliad is 45 degrees, so I was pretty much trying to make it look like I set the mural on the ground of the mountain [at an angle], but took a picture from a satellite view). From there I tried to get the jetpack shadow and the ufo to both be in the right spot, and barely succeeded, if at all. The egg is right in Paleto bay. Here is my closest attempt.

See, posting that visually for some of us that can't immediately check it out due to not being by their console helps a lot.

So yes, now I am siding with your argument more than that one. Perhaps that top part of the "beam up" could be that that shelf area with the weird mural on it.

 

And thank you for not accepting that glyph as "This is Chiliad and it means to go to the top of the mountian to see the UFO". We need ideas like these.

The mural is not to be overlaid with the map and I believe this because if you stand at the Highest point of mt gordo you'll see that my chiliad has the same lines that are under the mural, literally same exact lines

Its not supposed to line up with mine . The drawing is done on a small flat wall . The mountain is huge . The Mural would have to be rendered into a 3d drawing or stretched AROUND the mountain . All you can tell from the Mural is north and south or top and bottom , the egg to the eye/ufo . People are looking at a flat map not taking into account the different heights of the glyphs .

 

And again im starting to think the drawing in the boxes are not meant to be in any location found by using an overlay . I think they are just there at the bottom to tell you what you will get for solving the puzzle .

I like jarriix trying to do things in game, makes sense.

 

I just wasted some time coming up with a pic of the mural I can overlay, I traced this from a social club pic so it should be perfect if anybody wants to try any overlays (dont get mad at me when people get pissed for posting them).

 

 

 

 

Then I tried the overlay that strangone came up with, but with the actual proportionate mural. I could not get anything to match up. I was hoping it would match up like his...

 

 

but the closest I could get was by making the mural "shorter" (I assumed the average slope of Chiliad is 45 degrees, so I was pretty much trying to make it look like I set the mural on the ground of the mountain [at an angle], but took a picture from a satellite view). From there I tried to get the jetpack shadow and the ufo to both be in the right spot, and barely succeeded, if at all. The egg is right in Paleto bay. Here is my closest attempt.

 

 

Let me say that I dont think I solved anything, and I was hoping it would line up a lot better (like strangones hand drawn pic).

what exactly are you trying to line up.
