I also don't believe that the missions are replay able due to the mural I believe it's because they wanted a more interactive game instead of doing what you're told to do, game has lots of options

I do recall someone in one of these threads stating that they did a mission over again with an option they did not choose the first time around, and it did impact the current state of things..sorta.

 

In the mission someone had died that did not in the other selection, and on the radio it was announced.

 

If replaying missions had zero impact and it was only to try and get gold, then it would not have even been mentioned on the radio.

 

So it was either a nice touch that Rockstar added, or replaying missions will continue to effect the current state of the world.

Im thinking maybe the space monkey mask on franklin could trigger something since in the game go go space monkeys your killing aliens so the would have a grudge toward the space monkey(maybe abduct him) and I recall a few cris formage twiiter posts regarding space monkey even though it only appears on billboards in the city.I tried it at the chiliad ufo and nothing but maybe the hippie camp?

 

 

 

 

 

Has a good point, remember when Michael gets abducted the monkeys prancing around him like a f*ckin saw movie or something haha, well that probably a hint as to monkeys have a play in with the aliens in somehow someway

IDEA:

 

Has anyone used MS Visio with the mural lines?

 

I have a hunch that segregate and rearrange is directly related to the mural lines.

 

Visio is an easy tool to exactly copy the lines and move them around to see if anything reveals itself.

 

Of course we run the risk of creating nearly anything we want, but I'm thinking if we obey the law of the mural, we just might find something.

 

I think it's worth a shot.

 

If you think about it, it's quite feasible that R* expected us to use a pen and pad to workout the lines in the puzzle. It seems to me the mural is a map that has been intentionally scrambled for us to figure work out.

But I'm late with this regarding those Images from 2009.
In Gameinformer Issue #236
The GTA V Issue from December 2012.
In an Interview with R* Art Director Aaron Garbut.
He stated the the entire world from GTA V is created first.
Then missions, Adjustments to the world, Back and forth and so on.
This also probably relates to the mural and Mt, Chilliad. Jetpack and so on.
Aaron Garbut is are guy to contact. He probably is behind this mystery as well.
So now we have further proof here.
Let's get back to hunting.

Has anyone else noticed the red marks inside each of the boxes on the mural are all different sizes kinda like a numbering system, more easily noticed when up close to the mural.

 

No offence, but this thread is 144 pages long, do you seriously think no one has noticed the X's in the boxes up until this point. There's more information about them on the first page.

 

so that would be a YES heh heh. i just notice they are not all X's is all
. I think he is referring to the sizes of each X and the box they are in. They aren't uniform sizes the boxes or the Xs, some even look like ys. Not sure though..

 

in game if you get close

1 is a dot

2 is a small line

3 is a slightly bigger line

4 is an incomplete X (or a Y)

5 is an X

each is increasing in size

not sure if it matters, just thought i'd mention it

If that is the case (can't check a high enough definition pic at the mo), perhaps visit those locations / glyphs in order of 'completeness' - 1 to 5 in your list.

Ok someone said we are children of the mountain the page before, I went on the phone internet and typed in " mountain " and a site called " children of the mountain" popped up, it looks nothing suspicious to me but I didn't read much in that site because my tv is small and it's hard to read those letters, someone should check it out, I'm not sure if anyone has seen it, and it has a box that requires some type of password.

Bah, nothing new then.

 

However you may find something new. Most have completed this task and was given a shirt for Franklin to wear as a reward..quite lame compared to the Epsilon and Alturist cults.

It's the Hippy Camp, looking in the direction of the bigger mound/hill?

 

Arrow on left of glyph pointing UP..... Beam us UP on the left of the mound.

 

WOW! signal on the right of the glyph..... WOW! signal on the right of the mound.

 

UFO/Eye above the glyph..... UFO/Eye above the Camp.

 

 

Possibly, the "Beaming up" part of the glyph represents the mound/hill and the box/tunnel on top under the eye represents the wall that the Rain glyph sits behind on top of the mound as it looks similar when facing the mound. Hill with square on top.

 

OR it could just represent that the UFO does in fact "beam us up"

 

So, thoughts or questions?

Looks like the hippy camp layout to me.

 

Some look left, some look right.... It was right in front of US the whole time(not that the saying means this, it just happens to apply right now, lol)

I don't remember, wasn't it established that the beam glyph was named "mountain" in the game files?

Now we have to figure out the "Faded" glyph and we can read the right side of the mural.(besides the dead end lines, what's that all about?)
