Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

yea i personally believe that the peak of the mural represents 100% completion and then you gotta work your way back down to the bottom. technically the whole "come back when your story is complete" and the eye on the peak of chiliad debacle makes me believe that you reach the top and then the puzzle down to the bottom begins.

 

but who f*ckin knows. oh wait, rockstar knows. but the only hint theyve given us is "trutH". thanks a ton!

Using this pic from the other thread, I think this deserves attention. The jetpack man looking shadow on that rock fits in Chiliad wilderness, the middle is paleto bay and the eggs, the top right on this pic (bottom left of the mural) would be the sunken ufo. The POI's are the glyphs done by strangone. I never fully agreed with an overlay, can anybody tell me where I am wrong here?

 

Also, I understand some people thinking the shadow is nothing, and it could be just a huge coincidence. If it is real, then does this overlay fit?

 

edit: if you stand in paleto bay and look at the mountain, the mural would show the glyphs, pretty much exactly like on page 1 of this thread, right?

 

It is possible the 3 lower boxes UFO ,EGG ,JetPack man just show your rewards not necessarily that they will be in any set of locations from any overlay.I made these Poi when i realized the first page of this thread is WRONG . I said it like 3 times already nobody cares .

 

Could be, I think solving all 5 boxes will reveal more of the bottom boxes

 

I know Im quoting a three quotes and a pic, but everybody seems so fed up with overlays they arent giving this any attention (unless its your stupid it obviously doesnt overlay, its been tried everywhere. etc.).

 

I have never seen an overlay that I agreed with, until now, and I was not the one to create it so Im not just trying to spam.

 

I cannot see anything off in this overlay. All the glyphs, the UFO, a jetpack shadow, and Paleto bay and the egg symbolism (maybe cluckin bell). Somebody please tell me what is incorrect on the overlay.

 

@strangone- did you do the drawin in mural a few days ago, or just add that?

 

I am trying to make a mural that can be overlayed, i will see if it fits on the game map.

Anyways did somebody else besides me confirm the location of the "take control" box with the arrow pointing northward, it could be nothing but if you guys think it's right it could lead to new FZ theories

After spending the last 2 hours exploring fort zancudo on foot and exploring the control tower I noticed a few things...

1 cctv cameras can be destroyed.

2 a health pack and minigun are on the 6th floor of the tower.

3 theres another floor with a lot of pc equipment

4 the lift is on all the floors but does not work.

5 floors 2, 3, 4 and 5 are nothing / sealed off

 

There is no way underground from ground level unless the lift can take you there.

 

What do I make of all this?

 

There is a mission set missing which has you attack the base.

 

Now... can anyone think of who might want sonething or want to destroy something at a military base?

Lester springs to mind...

 

What about how we go ahead to trigger the mission?

 

Trevors bring $500,000 to this location might do it IF people stop just assuming its to do with the $250,000 docks

 

Just hope someone can figure it out more than me .

I've read every post of every thread regarding Easter Eggs in this damn game. And it seems the the marks around the main picture in the mural have been scarcely acknowledged.

 

The poster of the Volcano leads me to believe (however far fetched) that maybe there is an earthquake ready to go or a volcano waiting to erupt. (hate the DLC ideas, but maybe a DLC would be for a volcanic event of sorts?!)

 

It could be hinting towards the need for electricity. Such as a lightning storm being needed for something. Maybe the force field/barrier on the UFO could be disengaged. I know many have already disregarded the Space Docker, but those damn antena's don't look like they are just decoration. Stupid as it sounds, maybe there is a way to shoot electrcity out of them that would disable the force field around the Chiliad UFO?

 

It could be anything. But I feel that those markings should be more closely considered.

Yea the space docker seems important to bad I can only access it at an 86% save which I think goes for a lot of us.I also had a highly unlikely theory since you can't get 100% without giving omega the parts but maybe the ET's want the parts back somehow to possibly restore the underwater ufo but that seems to be far fetched even though it kinda makes sense it just doesn't line up with all the other requirements

There was a mission where you needed to steal the Cargobob from FZ. It was part of a Heist setup.

Looking at the mural, it seems the lightning bolts are all pointing at an x. Maybe something happens with the faded glyph during the time the Chiliad UFO is present? The way I'm thinking is everyone's saying were looking too deep into things and what I'm thinking is instead of visiting the Chiliad UFO under the correct circumstances (which is what everyone does) we think outside of the box a tiny bit and explore the mountain further during that time period. What better way to hide a minor detail by having the same circumstances needed as a bigger one that people would most likely observe rather than finding a new one?

I think we need to turn our attention away from the UV map because it hasn't revealed anything special, it just shows the location of certain weapons and collectables. So far everything on the UV map has been accounted for except the 500k by the docks thing, it's likely it will used for an online mission in the future."take control" simply means that it's possible to enter the Zancudo control tower, that's it. The UV map hasn't revealed a single thing concerning this mystery.

No offence, but this thread is 144 pages long, do you seriously think no one has noticed the X's in the boxes up until this point. There's more information about them on the first page.

(if it has been discussed/debunked I appologize in advance) As I was driving around today thinking of all this ufo stuff, I drove past a building in the city with a big ufo saucer sticking out of it. I don't remember seeing that before. Has this been checked out already? I know it's a big reach but hey, we gotta consider everything.

Yeah the "WTF!? Cafe" It's been checked and it's not really relevant as far as we know. The only tie we've found sound so far is that it emits the same noise the FIB UFO does.
