Decoding the Mount Chiliad Mural

The golf course is not a closed air zone.

I'm there with a chopper and nothing is happening.

 

Something is definitely happening there..

I never noticed it before because I never tried to fly low over it and I've been flying all over the map for quite some time

 

In my 100% Trevor owns the golf course..

When I flew in a buzzard with Franklin relatively low over the golf course, I heard a clear message: "aircraft bla bla.. you're in a no flight zone.." (or some similar voice warning)

When I didn't get out, I immediately got 2 stars wanted (just for flying)

After I died a few times (police battles), the message did not return, but I still got the 2 wanted stars immediately just for flying

It's kinda like when you fly low over Zancudo fort.. which is weird because this is a freakin golf course

 

When I tested it with Trevor (who owns it), I didn't hear the warning message and I didn't get wanted stars

 

Anyways, I dismissed the whole thing as non-important but it's still pretty weird

The lighthouse may have more to it. I found a gold plague at the school (ULSA) that has some latin phrases surrounding a lighthouse with a bird flying in front of where the spotlight is. I tried translating the latin "quisque comoedus est" Each one is a comedy. "resumo ad nauseum" Resume to nausea (or seasickness) and then "galea" which means helmet or protective tissue around brain. Can anyone make any sense of this? Maybe the nausea refers to thunder storms when the waves get bigger. I also recall someone mentioning that when you aim a gun at the spotlight it stops spinning so far no luck.

 

Psst...your "Quisque comoedus est" translation is close, it's actually coloquial for "Everybody's a comedian"

"Resumo ad nauseum" has me a bit perplexed. Perhaps it's an anagram? "Around Sea Museum"?

Galea we can agree on, though, that is indeed helmet.

First time poster, but I've been tracking this thread since page 20, and haven't seen this mentioned anywhere.

 

Has anyone been intercepting radio transmissions around Blaine County? I've had a few, the only one I can remember happened last night, someone was radioing that they'd just wrecked someone else's combine harvester.

 

As well as that, the noise that mobiles make next to audio outputs ( duh, duh duh, duh duh) at random points too.

 

And my phone is nowhere near the TV, or my headphones.

 

Dunno if its helpful or not.

At best, resumo could mean resume, but that would have to be in spanish. Even then, it would be a stretch as it's not often used that way. Sumario would be closer to the meaning a spanish speaking person would be looking for in that context. Since the text in question here is Latin, though, I don't think "resume" is what we're looking for, much less the "repeat" which you've concluded that it means. Likewise with galea. For galea to mean a boat, we'd have to be talking about Arabic text. I think an anagram is as likely a scenario as it being a strange Spanish-Arabian hybrid.

This is known. It's something that happens when you ride in a vehicle that is likely to have a CB radio. The CB picks up random CB chatter from other CB users.

I really signed up here to complain about the fact that people have been duped by brian three times now and this place is quickly becoming the laughing stock of the GTAV scene. But then I decided it would probably be better not to start off here by complaining, and instead the Latin caught my eye. But now that I've mentioned it...yes, how on Earth have you all allowed yourselves to get duped by this lunatic so many times? In the future, simply STOP replying to troll posts!

 

Also, this thread is starting to look like reddit's hunt for the Boston Marathon bombers, seriously. R* must end this madness!

There's a spaceship part located on top of that tower thing, they make that noise to let you know you're close to it buddy. You can ride a motorbike down there, use it as a platform, jump on top of the tower thing and collect it. The noise will then stop

I just had a thought,back before the game came out.....anyone remember the map pic that came out with a massive shed/container and everyone was all "I must find this shed and see what's inside".....I'm not 100% yet,but maybe inside a container or shed there is something that refers to the mural? (not saying a jetpack),i've seen alot of em scattered around the map,while everyone seems to be looking for a cave or some sorta secret passage.....what if it's something as simple as a container somewhere that you go past so often but never think it could mean something?maybe even a few clues.....dunno,as I said....just a thought I had,possibly means nothing though,but its an idea

He became EXTREMELY aggressive and threatened to hunt people down via Google (somehow) and told people like myself to kill themselves simply because they are gay.

Yea, fair enough, I'd say give it a looksie.

Buuut, by the sounds of it, everyone here has sorta lost faith, it's possible the only things to find 'were' the UFOs.

16. My little seoul idea led me down the sewer outlet by the del perro pier which if you follow around eventually you find an underground area that has what looks like a sewer maitenence area fenced in. You can knock down the fence, but it stopped me from climbing the ledge. But here there is a spiral staircase that leads up. Maybe I need 100% to get there. IDK.

 

Sorry the extensiveness and length of this. I have just spent countless times thinking of these theories and I cant truly rule them out myself yet not being 100% yet.

 

yes, this has been bugging me for days, a well lighted staircase, above it is a parking lot but there's no access, and you can't go near the stairs either.

I honestly do believe that whatever's hidden here is definitely in the game now. C'mon guys we're just seeing what we want to see now. I don't think there's any truth in the dlc conversation. I personally think you need to go to every glyph at the right time in succession. I believe the tunnels are there, and the black lines on the mural are underground routes (like train lines on the London Underground.) Mt. Chiliad is huge and there's got to be an enterance at the right time with the correct weather.

A spanner in the works is the fort Zancudo lights and the prison block 9A , however, apart from the fact they're military/police enforcement, i cant see any other connection.

Finally I know about the youtube video where the kid was able to land on the modern UFO above Fort Zancudo but has anybody actually tried to press triangle or Y and enter it?? May be a silly suggestion but worth a shot.

Bim at 100% and have been a while now! The stats in the pause menu confirm all strangers and freaks missions was done only last night when playing with Franklin a green strangers and freaks ? Mark appeared at the mountain wilderness! I went straight there as was curious why this appeared when the stats say they are completed! Was met by a hunter and it lead me on to chasing bigfoot through the wilderness! Killed him and turned out to be a human in costume!

What im thinking is if this was some kind of bonus mission then surely there would be one for Trevor and Michael at some point and if so could be part of solving the mystery!

Its just an idea so im now letting game time pass to see if an extra strangers n freaks mission pops up for them pair in the hope it might be somehow part of the puzzle
